    This is what coverage should be like. The standard in disc golf tv. I love watching, great commentary and such clear footage. This is better with one camera then the other competitors with two, lol. Paavo brilliant work.

    Another great video - thanks Paavo! Way to represent NorCal, and great commentary. Seems like each video gets better and better. Speaking of which, I'm looking forward to watching the St. Pattys Open, that's next on the queue yeah?

    Great video, as always. I just wanted to comment on hole #10 (short uphill). There is a hyzer route to take with that hole. The up and over is not the only line. A nice hyzer shot to the right places very well. The two times that I have played this back course, both with FlyLife tournaments....I took a 2 on hole #10 with a hyzer shot. I was the only one that took that route and the only one to take a birdie. It is there, you just have to be confident and make the shot.

      +Roger Vartabedian Yep, I know, I take the hyzer line as well actually. I was surprised that none of the 9 players on the top two cards took it...

    Wait, are you allowed to have an episode without Nikko on the card? Just messing with you. Good coverage as always. You should come film Beaver State.

    hey! it would be verry nice if you could show the length in the begining of the holes in both feet and meters! it would give us a better understanding of the holes! :)

      +Pava fishing team Thanks for the suggestion Pava. I agree that this is a good idea, but I'd rather stick with my current graphics for now. If I ever get to a point where I want to update the "look of PHP" I'll try to remember to include metric distances with the update.

    here is a thought...let two of the players involved commentate? I know this may not be easy to carry out yet, it would accentuate the great camera work even more!? Best would be the two vying it out at the top:)

    • @PureHyzerProductions
      @PureHyzerProductions  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Twist of Fade That's an interesting idea, but usually it's tough enough to even get one person from the card to commentate with me since my format requires them to physically drive to my house. In many cases players are not in the area anymore once I've edited a video unless they're local in the first place. This was the case with Charlie, so I recruited Ray for this one. I'm also pretty picky about being able to say certain things to keep the format of the show the same, but I'm not against the idea of having two guests for the same episode eventually as long as I can still do the introductions and then keep my mouth shut for most of the commentating. Right now my guest and myself sit next to a single microphone between us though, so I'd have to get headsets if I ever wanted to have three commentators at once I think... maybe an idea for the future if I can pull it off!

    What is 3 and 4p? Is that penalty for going OB? In the Kansas we circle those.

    So I've been seeing some posts about PDGA banning headphones? Wonder if this is true and if so would Charlie be disqualified...?

    • @nathanbaer9524
      @nathanbaer9524 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      That seems like a really dumb thing to ban...

    • @zachcarman2515
      @zachcarman2515 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Nathan Baer Heres something I found, and it does make sense. This is not PDGA, though they may be soon banning headphones.
      Interestingly enough, there's another reason for banning headphones
      during play, according to the United States Golf Association (keeper of
      the rules):
      The Rules of Golf: Rule 14-3
      Wearing Headphones or Earplugs During Stipulated Round
      The use of headphones or earplugs to eliminate noise or other distractions is prohibited under Rule 14-3.
      Decision 14-3/16 covers listening to music or some other broadcast during a round. Here is the text of that Decision:
      Rule 14-3a states that a player may not use any artificial device or
      unusual equipment that “might assist him making a stroke or in his
      play.” Listening to music or a broadcast while making a stroke or for a
      prolonged period might assist the player in his play, for example, by
      eliminating distractions or promoting a good tempo. Therefore, the use
      of an artificial device to listen to music or a broadcast, whether or
      not through headphones, while making a stroke or for a prolonged period
      of time during a stipulated round is a breach of Rule 14-3. However, it
      would not be a breach of Rule 14-3 for a player to listen to a device
      briefly, for example, to obtain the results of another sporting event or
      traffic information, while walking between the putting green of one
      hole and the teeing ground of another hole.
      There is no restriction on listening to music or other broadcasts while
      practicing (whether on the practice ground or on the golf course, and
      whether by oneself or while playing with others), although club rules
      and disciplinary codes could apply in such circumstances.
      So, in the sense that it creates an unfair advantage (and players will tell you they wear earbuds because they play better),
      it's no different than any other banned performance-enhancer. And, BTW,
      the PDGA also already bans artificial devices that assist play, so it's
      only a matter of defining earbuds/headphones/earplugs as "artificial
      devices."
