It is proven!! You really can make an arrangement without flowers! I have always found that your arrangements look gorgeous BEFORE the flowers and now we see the beauty of foliage on display. Thank you fo rthis lovely arrangement. I agree that it would be a nice buffet arrangement.
Thank you 😊 it would be nice to do this In different styles as well - so low and long, or aysymetrical maybe
Amazing plant composition. Green in various shades and shapes does the job. It resembles a green corner on the shore of a pond. Simplicity and beauty 🌿
Thank you so much 😀🌱🍁🍂
Love the creativity on the fly and the end result! 👏
😊 Thank you
Green is good! It lasts longer and looks just as good. Great job!!
Thank you 😊
I always like all foliage designs so I enjoyed this video, thank you.😊
😊 thank you 🌼🌼🌼
Clever cloggs🎉 it’s stunning ❤️
Thank you 😊
An all-foliage arrangement is delightful, John. I love the textures and the variety of greens, and grays in this design as well as the range of heights. When I designed for the church, I was only permitted to use greens in Advent, leading up to Christmas. It was always a fun challenge and I had fun surprising folks by often not using pine or other traditional Christmas greens. Thanks for this wonderful reminder/video! Have a great week!
You are very welcome 🤗 it’s good having a bit of a selection so there is lots of interest. It’s funny, but in so many of the videos there are always a few people who say it looked good at the greenery stage, before the flowers. So this video just ticks that box!
Hope you are well 🌼😀
Excellent - love watching you work - you have a great sense of balance and always come up with a great design - thanks
Thank you so much 😊
The beauty of nature. The simple green foliage arranged together is absolutely stunning. Love it. Thank you, John.
😊 Thank you
Love the foliage🙂
😊🌱🍂🍁🍃
Just beautiful!
Thank you 😊
What a creative arrangement!
The main challenge I face when doing floral arrangements is the lack of foliage. The local grocery where I buy flowers has a very large selection of flowers, but they usually have only small bunches of eucalyptus and no other foliage. I'd love to be able to find this selection of foliage.
That can be a problem - if you are near any parks a good time is after a storm when bits are brought down, so you don’t need to feel guilty taking them. Or a good friend with a nice garden helps 😀
@@FlowerJoos Thanks for those good ideas!
I do love how John, like an old-fashioned painter, steps back to contemplate the stroke of his brush, but in this whimsical twist, his canvas is not adorned with oils-it's the untamed world of green leaves! 🌿
As long as I don’t lose an ear, we are good 😊 thank you for the picture you painted 😀
@@FlowerJoos LOL!
It is just lovely 🍀
😊 thank you
I always like to watch your work! I love just greenery. When I was in professional training as a florist (35 years ago, in Germany) I decided to make a bridal bouquet only with green plants for the final exam.
Great Video, thanks for creating such content and posting!
Thank you very much 😀🌼
Excellent. 🌿🌿🌿
Thank you 🌱🍁🍂

@@FlowerJoos Yes, thank you very much, lately with many changes in my life but thank God I am fine 👍🏻
Wonderful
Thank you 😊
Wonderful design, love all greenery arrangements. I do have a question though. How do you determine which foliage can be under the water? I was always taught to keep stems clean, but we did use aspidistra wrapped around foam in glass containers.
Thank you. 😊 it kind of depends on what the design is for - if for an event then pretty much anything could go under the water. But for normal designs to last then I would stick to clean, hard type leaves - so aspidistra won’t change the water that much. But you are right, leaves under the water will turn the water quicker - so avoiding this is best, or changing the water more often helps.
