Man that’s an awesome looking ride… I might have to do this to my 72 Ranger XLT… Idk why so many people hate on the LWB trucks. I think they look awesome lowered…😍😀
I have a 1974 FordF100 explorer and I just bought the front and rear QA1 suspension kit via Summit racing. I have been told that QA1 only made the rear suspension kit to fit up to the year 1972 f100 and the 74 model rear end was larger in size and they didn't made one for this. But I have been told that with some custom alternations it can be done. many thanks,
Great Video, what is the back spacing you are running with those 18x12 ? Just installed my Qa1 kit on my 69 and want to order that’s same tire wheel set up . Thanks
We went with Wilwood brake kits front and rear. If you reach out to them or Baer, they both are familiar with this kit and will be happy to help offer some recommendations!
Love the look on the bump side. I have a 66 F-100 long bed. Do you have a kit to fit that? And would the wheel openings need to be cut like you did on this one?
Our front and rear systems fit the 65-72 F100! Modifying the wheel tubs or the front fenders is not required, we did it to be able to run wider tires. www.QA1.net/F100
Wow, awesome video awesome truck. Have any vids of a Gen 10 F150 rear 4 link swap? I'm thinking I can do an upgrade on the rear end on my '03 SVT Lightning with swaybar.??
I have a '79 F150 that I have plans to do a restomod. This will include suspension upgrades. I went on the website and couldn't get a choice for the rear suspension. Is there something else I need to look at?
We currently do not have a rear system available for these trucks. We could possibly make coil-overs or shocks work depending on your specs. Give us a call. 952-985-5675
The front spindles that are included in the kit say they can only fit 11 inch rotors would it be possible to order the kit with the spindles you have in the video? Also what spindles do you have in the video? Also what brake kit?
I use my 3 bumpsides as trucks. Will this kit allow me to go down my 22 miles of bad mountain roads and carry 1000 pounds of gravel, sand and stuff to fix that bad road?
Hi there! We do not know what the name of that color is. We assume it's a stock color for these trucks. It was painted this color when we picked it up.
We do offer front and rear shocks with adjustable valving that will keep your truck at stock ride height. The minimum drop this kit offers is 3" in the front and 4" in the rear.

Really fantastic job everyone did their part to make it so nice.
Thank you very much! It's been a fun project.
Wonder if this could all be attached to a 2x4 mandrel bent tubing frame ?
What headers did you use with the 351? Are they long tubes?
I want one for my 68 shortbed this kit looks to be better than the cv swap
Love it.. about to pick up a 71..
Awesome! Way to go staying with all Ford drivetrain!

Rear: 18x12, 6.00” backspacing. 305/35/18 tire
What fuel tank are you using? Where did you run the fill tube to?
Hi. Can you please tell me which mirrors you have installed? Greetings from Germany.
The mirrors that are on this truck came with it when we purchased it. I believe they are the factory mirrors.
Will this fit on a 71’ F250 long bed ?
We do not have a kit for the F-250 at this time. May be able to offer a shock setup depending on your specs!
What headers did you use?
So what did you do for brake booster master cylinder and proportion valve
Steve does not mention what the back space on the rear wheels,, also did u use a stock width 9in
6" backspace on the rear. This system currently only works with the Ford 9-inch.
Do you have a link to recommend for the rear brake kit? Also the front as well?
We went with Wilwood brake kits front and rear. If you reach out to them or Baer, they both are familiar with this kit and will be happy to help offer some recommendations!
Do you have anything for a 84 dodge d150 prospector
Not at this time. Hopefully it's something we can offer in the future!

This system was designed to optimize performance and handling. We do not recommend towing/hauling anything with that amount of weight.
wow absolutely beautiful work!!! what would the entire suspension front and rear plus the brake package cost for my 77 F150 ?
Currently the front system is the only one that is compatible with your vehicle. The system starts around $3250 through a dealer.
@@QA1TECH ok thank you I appreciate it I look forward to seeing the rear set up
Can I use the rear suspension kit on my 1978 F100?
At this time, the rear system does not work on the 73-79 F100s.
BUMMER!!!
Can the rear kit work with a 79 F150?
Not at this time. Hopefully we can provide something in the future.
I have first dibs on a one owner low mile 1972 F250.
Is the F250 Frame rails the same as the F100 ?
Nice! We have not confirmed the fitment of our kit for the F250 yet.
@@QA1TECH I’d be interested to know as well. Working on a 77 2wd F250 right now.
I believe the only difference between the F100 and F250 is the chassis wall is thicker for the extra load capacity.
@@Polack-ml9fh the chassis between the Bump side and Dent side are different, this setup won't fit unless you're competent at modifying it to fit.
You should be working on that rear 4 link setup so a guy could get one for the wider frame dentsides.
We hear you! Hopefully we can confirm fitment for the dentsides soon!
@@QA1TECH any luck trying your 4 link on a dentside yet? just wondering...
