Two friends of mine bought three boxes together, 4 Goyfs, one of them foil. I saw that and decided to avoid buying a box since all the good ones were probably bought by them.

This was the most entertaining Buster Box game yet, due to you having to hit a jackpot or bust. From the length of the video I figured you hit a goyf, but the foil clique, god damn!
That lodestone golem you pulled, I actually bought the older version of the card from a previous expansion and now it is eligible for standard. It works so well with any fast paced aggro deck. So happy about that!

In the 2nd box, there were the best cards of MM2015, and you sold it.. I know, it's the Booster box game, but that was the best box opened in history of your channel, I think.
I would say the booster box game is good for beginners or returners to magic has in the end it does give you bulk cards to pick from. And sometimes having a bunch of random cards to be able to make strange off homebrew casual decks that are more for fun than competition is always a good thing. I know I had that one friend who loved making goofy decks to just have some random fun with

ScarFearz Eye of Ugin is inherently broken in itself in every form of the word. The turn two win is Eye of Ugin into three mimics then on turn two you eldrazi temple and pitch spirit guide into a reality smasher for 20 damage. Can you think of a single other card that can essentially produce 6 mana on turn one? This is why Eye of Ugin needs to be banned. Too powerful for Modern.

Reminds me of the first time I ever bought a box. I saved up my Christmas and birthday money and bought a box of 7th Edition. I got 3 Okks and 2 Trained Orgg. I remember being pretty disappointed with that purchase.
That Comet Storm was such a douche move by Wizards, I feel your pain. The hours before the modern masters draft at the LGS I was saying to everyone, "watch me draw a Comet Storm" First booster I open, lo' and behold, there it was.
Why are people so mad about Comet Storm instead of all the other shit rates in MM2? At least it's strong in draft and playable in EDH. There are plenty of races that suck in draft and are never played in any format.
1Heirborn The most damning issue for me - and the Professor nailed it in the video - is that so very few of the uncommons and commons is actually ever played IN MODERN. Why release a modern set in which 90% of the cards you're going to open will never see play outside of limited? It makes no sense to me... And a limited set at $10/pack is not a healthy limited set. :(

Your last box was almost identical to my first. The only saving grace my box had was that I got it for way cheaper than MSRP by trading in old cards I didn't care for.
After having competed in the MM GP Vegas, while the financial value gap is atrocious, the cards themselves are absolutely amazing and fun in both sealed and deaft. Not $10 a pack good, but definitely a great experience.
Didnt bought a single pack yet. In Brazil the msrp is around 15-16 dollars because of the taxes. Also only few cards pay the booster itself getting a stronger feeling of lotery than or fellow friends of US... Well lets see if the prices drop a little on the next month
Hey prof. just a suggestion but would it be possible for you to include the price from the previous box on all the duplicate cards you pull just to show the increase or decrease in price between the purchase of the boxes?

that third box you got was pretty much my first box i was disappointed i mean i got some kool card's in my box pulled some foil's that where worth some money and if i when to put to all the card's value together an every i maybe got half my money back but i did get my karn :)
In the second box you could have included the foil expedition map, they're worth 5 - 10 dollars. Not that it would have mattered, but I would have bought it...
I bought a pack of MM15, figuring I'd give it one shot. I pulled a vendilion clique, $60. I bought another pack later that night, and pulled a $40 Foil Fulminator Mage. Granted, I pulled 3 mythics out of six packs that day, so I suppose my luck was clicking into place all at once. Problem is, now I'm broke for a fortnight, and I can't sell the cards because they're too valuable ;_;
My local store stocked up on some HCD products including playmats and card sleeves. Some of the art look alright but I want to know the quality of these products before I make any purchases, could you by any chance grade these?

Tolarian Community College I got a Fulminator Mage from a pack and the MM15 symbol doesn't have the black border around it and the CMC symbols are faded. I was wondering if this was a mis-printed card or if it was just low quality, and how much it might be worth if it was a mis-print?
Seems to me that the only reason you got to box 2 was the foil clique and to box three the Goyf (that silly thing is really worth over $100?). I bought one pack of this just for fun, but that's all I'm spending on this set. Relevant cards were Expedition Map and Precursor Golem which, while not worth the price of entry, were at least cards I didn't previously own and will find their way into my commander decks.
