I was too sore to sleep on my side after the bilateral mastectomy. Not to mention the anesthesia had me drowsy still. I used a ton of pillows. These are all great tips! 🫶🏽

I am so glad I found you. What brand is that wedge? I’ve been obsessively searching Amazon. Then I read the critical reviews and get flummoxed.

Hi, love the informative video. I would like to use your video as a reference for breast cancer patients undergoing surgery. I just am not able to tell if you are recommending patients put ice on their surgical sites or not. I noticed it seemed more for pressure rather than temperature. Can you clarify?

Thank you for these videos! I’ve found so many of them helpful. Is there any way you could cover ways to prop your feet up in bed or a recliner? I have severe arthritis and CRPS type 2 (aka RSD) and I have to keep my feet propped on pillows while in the recliner or in bed and sometimes the back of my heels and/or ankles just throb while I have them propped up. I try to scrunch the pillow up and hang my feet off the pillow so they aren’t touching the mattress, but having my feet hanging hurts too. I’ve tried googling ways to help, but maybe I’m not looking in the right places because it isn’t helpful. Thanks again for taking the time and energy to help educate all of us.🙂

Hello! Thank you for watching. Have you ever tried a supportive foot and ankle pillow while elevating? They would support the ankle in a stable position while sleeping. amzn.to/3pOWkae

Great advise. I had my mastectomy 5 days ago and bought the gray wedge on amazon. My biggest problem is pressure on my sacrum from sleeping in the same position all night. I can’t turn or do anything but just lay there on a 45 degree angle and let my bottom take all the pressure. I am worried about pressure ulcers from not turning and changing positions.
