I bought a polo tdi 1.5 . On ignition , first all the warning lights glow and disappear but check engine warning light keeps glowing. When I start the engine that light also goes off. Is it normal for a check engine light to glow and keep glowing on ignition? No warning lights are glowing after the engine starts.

Yes. Even a small led light is enough to drain the car's battery. So a music system which is left in ON condition will definitely drain the battery.
