I always agree with almost everything you say in your theories, but i do think the white shoes are Jin's. He's missing his shoes in one of the WINGS photoshoots and because he's (in my personal theory) dead and shoes hanging can mean death i think they're his. Jimin, who is always related to water, is picking them up form the ocean (supporting your theory that Jin drowned) so the "real" universe, which is the train, ends with them arriving to the tree to hang the shoes. Meaning this has been a journy all along and they're finally ready to say goodbye, leaving Jin's shoes behind. Also in the scene where they're surrounding a cake, Jin is the only one smiling. I think they were celebrating Jin's birthday (maybe??) before letting go of him completely, Although they're sad about it, Jin is grateful.
I think your theory with Jungkook is brilliant and makes alot of sense, but doesn't matter how many theories i read i never seem to find a good explanation for V. His character is so intricate and i'm yet to understand his exact role, or at least a theory on him that i like. Overall i think this video is amazing (like always) so thank you for taking your time to make these :'))

For the cake part I think he’s happy now cuz they r moving on and they won’t do such madness anymore... also she said in the video ‘cake represents growing up’ I feel lik it shows they r growing up and acting more mature to his death; hence y he is smiling.... that’s just my theory/guess ‘^~^’

I love this theory - I'm 3 years late but I'm gonna say what I think anyway XD
I agree with the Snowpiercer theory - 100% but I also think this was referenced on the Sewol Ferry incident.
*(( If you don't know what happened - A ferry sunk holding lots of pupils but they were told to stay where they were rather than evacuate though all the staff got off the boat - most of the students drowned and their families were left in the dark, the government also didn't send a rescue team and the situation was handled poorly.))*
I saw another theory about this and ill just add what I think. The rusty merry-go-round which Jungkook stood at shows a loss of childhood but everyone rushes around him, they are moving on - but he can't. The children who survived were told to move on and forget but they rebelled and said they would never forget their friends who drowned. The yellow ribbons also represent this as yellow ribbons were used to remember the victims.
The clothes pile - Christian Boltanski built a massive clothes pile as ana rt installation - the clothes represent the lives lost, he says. I think this is where BTS got their inspiration from for their clothes pile.
So much abandoned luggage left at the start when RM was alone in the carriage, it also is tipped, looking like the train had swayed and luggage had begun to fall around - this is what happened on the Ferry.
Jimin finds the shoes at sea - washed up from a victim is my assumption - he then hangs them on the tree - shoes hanging on a tree is seen as a way to remember the dead.
The laundry room - A big message with the Sewol Ferry incident was the survivors being told to move on but they all said no, we won't forget our friends. It was then emphasized to 'Not forget' In the washing room, on the laundry machine, there is a small note on all of them that says 'Don't forget' The rest of the writing is too small to see but I think the purpose is that its there to say Don't forget your clothes but the survivors see it as there own motto - don't forget those you survived for. That's why they zoom on it
I agree that it touches the subjects of depression, suicide and feeling alone because the 174/476 who survived, most of them said they feel unworthy to live because they made it out and their friends didnt. They said they wanted to commit suicide and felt guilty for surviving. They felt alone and pressured to move on from what happened before they were ready.

I don't consider these MVs like beautifying death, but it just happens. Especially in countries wth high rate of suicides among young people (in my country Russia it's also real social problem).
I believe we should talk about it openly without any taboo and prejiduce. And BTS are allowed to reveal this problem in their art works.

I just watched the wings trilogy tour in Seoul. ANd they performed spring day and at the end of the choreo they all left and jimin sat alone on the stage with jin holding/huggung him. So i think the white shoes were jin'sa and jimin was mourning for him and maybe the choreo meant that jin was comforting him since he was the last one to let go of the fact that jin is dead.

I had the thought of Spring Day being them sad about what they did to Jin! *I am so sorry if this is what you said in your Spring Day explanation, I didn't watch it yet.* And I know it probably sounds dumb, but stay with me, lmao.
This is put together on what the individual said, but I honestly think they all mean the same thing. As in they all think the same, but you know, they couldn't give one person all the lines, lol.
Rap Monster is saying he is so sorry to Jin, he hates *US* because he let this happen and let Jin sell himself to forgive their sins (Blood, Sweat, and Tears.) . *Now it's hard to see our faces.* Once again, Namjoon is using plural form. He thinks it's hard to see them all because he is upset that this all happened because of them. He would go to the other side of the Earth to end this winter? He'd do anything to bring him back. Maybe they all hate themselves for what they did, they can't look at themselves in the mirror. They could have saved Jin.
Jungkook and J-Hope are saying how many nights do they have to spend until they can see Jin again? Maybe they're saying things like, "What do we have to do to get you back? What do we have to do?" They're all saying that they want to see him again, they want to know how many nights and days it will take.
Suga is like, "You changed, so did I. That's how it is, and it's okay. I hate you. And even though you left, there isn't a day where I forgot about you. I honestly miss you so much, and that's why I will erase you, because it will hurt less." They're saying that they hate Jin for leaving, they hate him because Jin couldn't stay. They keep telling themselves that they were going to forget, yet they can never forget.
Then, they say that they miss him. Many times they say this in the song? Why? Because they miss Jin. Maybe when they say, "The winter is ending." They mean the day and they think they are going to wake up and this was all a dream. Just replace winter with dream. Maybe they think this is all some crazy dream and they're going to wake up.
I mean, just think for a moment. Jin only had lines that could be translated into him saying that they don't really care. He's just going to be blown away into the past pretty soon like he's a pet you had when you were three. And it never specified anything about the person being a certain gender, etc. And it's not about some random girl, I'd assume. So maybe this whole song as about them trying to apologize and make sure that it is known that they regret it and they love Jin to death?
This made me more emotional than I care to admit. One of my fave songs, and watching this theory in connection with their past MV's is so enlightening. Thank you

What if the boy in the cage is Jin (lets pretend that the boy is in the cage in 1899) and of course he'll die (because he gets old eyt)
and in 2013 thes boys are travellers who escaped from a tragedy in the world ( like in the transperge movie) and come to Omelas the only place where there's nothing wrong like in other places ( exp : other places in the world are caught in fire or have eternall snow sthing like that) where they met only one person its jin and they start having friendship with him and they start being really friends but later they realise that jin is not there anymore and that he has dyed loooong ago and that Omelas didnt catch tragedy because its supposed to be an always happy place because it depends on the misery of a child (jin)

Ps. THATs why when they take pictures jin is not there and when jin sees his reflection theyre not there because these reflections are from a long time ago , also thats why jin always dresses unlike the guys

I did, this was really sad...I had no idea the story could be so deep (or at least theorized that way).
I know i'm a bit late so i think you already know it but in the mv at the scene where the light changes from cold to warm, you can see a white container on the right side at the top (idk if it's one) like the one in which Hoseok in MAMA was.
And in one scene you can see all of them from a bird view. You can see the train (on the left side) too, but there aren't any rails.

I've been subscribed for awhile now and I've never seen or read theories like yours. Yours is so accurate it can't deny it or prove them wrong. It just seems to fit accordingly. Also, it's seems common and almost popular for storytellers to take their readers on a crazy roller coaster journey with plot twists and holes...only for the reader/audience to find out at all a dream. That it never really happened. And that a possibly BTS may be behind (JK sleeping and waking up). I have a friend who wrote a play and he tackled VERY deep messages which we found out later it was a dream (the major plots twists). I thought "wow, how excellent! I would've never thought."
