Hi I am vishwa , blower motor ( 7.5 Hp) power with 3 phase 460 V with 3 nos, 20 AMP fuses in each phase . When I checked starting Surging current , it is going up 31 Amp like a second and running amp 3.8 to 4 Amp . Can this 20 AMP fuses run this motor ( coupled with blower by 2 belt ) . I tried to reduce the belt tension and left loos to reduce surging current . Motor is new . Blower is a huge blower in a big building supply air to depressurizing the stare well. working with only fire alarm is activated . Can syging current go high like 10 amp more than rated amp in wires and cables .
