insignificantly important he actually lost 40+ pounds for the end of the movie. when they were filming, they actually took a few months off and when they came back to it, everyone was emotional about how skinny and unhealthy he looked. ryan murphy, the director, actually said the first time that he saw matt after he lost the weight, he got tears in his eyes just because he looked so unhealthy. he was so fatigue that during his scenes, they had to stop for him to catch his breath. everyone was extremely worried about him. that's how serious he takes his roles. he's an inspiration.
