Hello, I'm from Brazil and didn't find any portuguese videos teaching Mohr Circle. Thanks god I found this one, you really make me understand. It's funny that there is a lot of informations on books but no one talks "for what I need Mohr Circle"!!
Hi I am from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and watching this video helped a lot! Thanks! Maybe can you do a video to show how you determine the direction of tau xy and tau yx?
Thank you sir for your explanation. I have one question: In the video, the process of constructing the stress element involves a qualitative assessment of which stress is present, and which one is not. Is that the only way to do it? What if I come across a complex geometry part where it can't be seen immediately what stresses are acting on an element?
@zambokschwammkopf That's awfully good of you. I could certainly put the money to good use (starting with a wireless microphone), but you should probably clear it with your university first ;-) RMF

You can tell this guy was at one point a real fucking engineer. not like the overpaid research professors who "teach" in undergrad programs.
@Carlmiel Thanks. I'll keep doing the videos as long as people are watching them. If this one gets some more hits, I'll be happy to do another one.
Nice Video, i will be happy if you post more Mohr circle videos
Great video like always...
Is it possible to make a video about strains and deformation?
i would gladly hand over my £3,300 university annual tuition fee to you instead of my lecturers! thanks for the help!
can you do a video on stress transformations
thanks you just saved my degree!
Oh and also do you think you can teach us how to draw Mohr's circle for stresses going out of the plane xy?
