Day Five - Mt. Akina Assetto Corsa (

Apologies for the hiatus, I had to do some prep for my exam. I decided to switch things up a little bit and try out a different car with a bit more punch, the Mazda RX-7 Spirit R.*
This car honestly feels way more natural and stuck to the ground than the AE86 Tuned, and I can definitely feel how much heavier it is with also the slight turbo lag. The RX-7 also revs much higher than the AE86 does, and at times felt a bit scary to lay my foot on the gas during some of the straightaways because of how fast this thing can go. As you can probably tell, by not driving for even just a few days, I already forgot most of the corners on Akina.
Going forward, I am going to stick to the AE86 Tuned as that is how I am measuring my driving skill, as that car's performance is really dependant on the driver and your skill. The RX-7 Spirit R was absolutely terrific to drive, but a bit too powerful for me right now.
