    I am very new to the trading scene, watched an almost 2 hour tutorial on how to trade options, but I still don't really get it. I really want to learn how to properly do it. I read these charts wrong most times. Do you ever trade for others? I'm interested. I have about $95k set aside to test the financiaI market waters.

      Options are not like normal financial instruments. Even in the normal structure they are complicated. You cannot expect to understand them from 2h video. Especially if you want to do more than hedging.

      It's really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It just requires a certain level of diligence, which is something ordinary lnvestors lack, and so a financiaI advsor often comes in very handy.

      That’s why I make it a point to speak with a financial advisor before choosing any investments. I’ve been using one since the pandemic, using profits oriented tactics and minimizing risks as a buffer against inevitable downtrends. In addition they have access to insider knowledge and analysis, making failure virtually impossible for them. I’ve made about millions working with my advisor for over three years now.

    Now is the perfect time to start buying stocks and crypto( BTC, ETH,) if you are just being introduced.. I really wish I started earlier. I’m learning this doesn’t have to be as complicated as some people make it out to be. Thanks to Kerrie Farrell for helping me get into her trading server and investing guidelines. Investing and trading are more than just having TA skills. There is a big component of discipline and emotional maturity, that one has to work on! Time in the market vs. timing the market. If you keep that mentality as an investor, you will stay calm during the storm! Within some weeks I was making a lot more money and have continued on that same path with......

    Started my portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is way up (22.25%) and VUG is waaaaay up (39.62%). Thanks for the education!

    • @eloign7147
      @eloign7147 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Isn't VOO and VUG similar in the sense both are investing in the S&P 500? What is the difference? I thought it is generally advised against to invest in multiple ETFs or Mutual Funds?

    • @rogerwheelers4322
      @rogerwheelers4322 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      There is 55% overlap with the holdings in VOO and VUG. 1 is tech heavy and the other is financials heavy similar, but not the same. VOO tracks the S&P 500; VUG is just focused on large cap growth stocks. VUG is a bit more volatile, but with a higher upside potential. VOO is a bit safer. I’ve never heard anyone advise against multiple ETFs/mutual funds. You just have to be aware of overlap. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

      I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

    I really like how Robinhood (I think that's what you're using) has the visual aid on the side of the calls that shows you your potential profit/losses. Really puts in into perspective. More brokerages should use these tools.

    I have a suggestion for a new video!
    Love the content you put out by the way! I'm really excited to get started on my options career! I'm currently using robinhood and trying to get to a level 3 account. I have a small account and have been buying very small priced call and put options to get more option trades in my history to get to the suggested "10 option trades" that I've heard from others say is required to get approved for level 3. I just recently found out that I need to have $2000 to get a margin account and a margin account is required for a Level 3 options account. I do not want to use any margin but apparently its required. I've watched your whole small account playlist which has reignited my desire to pursue options trading for financial freedom. Though many of the stated trades on that playlist are working with dollar amounts much lower than the 2 grand collateral that is apparently required. I think it would be really helpful to add a video to that playlist that explains what is necessary to get a Level 3 options on robinhood.
    Thank you again for all the content you produce and for being generous and honest in sharing your journey with us!

    For value stocks and stocks recently under pressure (like Tesla is right now), I've been taking the long call position you're reviewing here one step further and simply creating a synthetic long position -- i.e. selling an at the money put that then pays for the at the money long call (and sometimes pays for the long call with some extra money that goes straight into my account). This strategy also leaves most of my principle in the account uninvested and earning the current money market rate of approx 5% in the background, while still having the upside (and downside) risk that goes with the synthetic long position. Overall, this situation where the prevailing money market rates exceed the cost to finance the synthetic long position is a bit of an arbitrage on the typical put-call parity relationship. The downside of this strategy is that for stocks on a strong upward run, the short at the money put does not nearly pay for the at the money call and in many cases can be like financing the long position with a rate > the available money market rate, which means it's better to just take a standard long position in the stock or, as you've illustrated here, simply speculate on high payoff long call positions.

    Hi Henry, can you please make one vid for NVIDIA. She is going nuts and now there is an event that they call "The Woodstock of the AI" starting next week. The upswing could be huge. I don't want to boast but NVIDIA has made me so far over 600k buying call options. I know that the risk is huge but...balls to the wall, this is one time event and we got to squeeze as much as possible before the recession hits hard.

    Hi Henry, in your NIVIDA call option (7:04) example, you state if you bought the $500 call option, and it went up to $800, that you'll make $300 on the option. To clarify, are you saying close the option buy purchasing your $500 call option ($500 X 100shares=$50,000.00) and then sell the shares at $800 ($800 X 100= $80,000) for a total profit of $30,000 less the premium for the call option? Thank you.
