I really see the styling in this great house, to be similar to in The Sims 4, from what's been shown. The browns you used, space in the rooms, and the industrial theme in the house!
I've gotta say, James, that it's a great house, and it's impressive how you can speak to why you are making the building and design choices that you make. It's a hard thing to do to talk about building and make it interesting, and a lot of really good builders simply don't have that skill to be able to make a viewer engage with what they're saying and what the video shows them doing, but you do.
You know.. I wish you show us all the building cheats.. and how they work.. This is a awesome home. I downloaded it for sure.. thank you so much. :)
For someone who doesn't go into building with much of a plan your houses always end up amazing. I will be downloading this one (and the dining set) for sure!

Your furnishing has improved a ton lately and I love it. And this house.
I love the idea of you creating more paintings. I highly agree that there is not enough variety. I like filling up unused wall space with at least one picture (not every empty wall of course). It particularly comes in handy for hallways.
I have no idea how you create such wonderful and beautiful houses without planning anything! I have to plan everything I do! Hahaha Can't wait to put this in my game. Absolutely love it!
Got to be one of my favourite houses of yours. The whole colour scheme is great, looking different to what you normally do and the exterior is perfect. What I wasn't a fan of was where the TV was upstairs, I felt the whole back of the TV should've been covered by the wall, instead of just the middle.
This is a sexy pad-tempted to rejig it as a bachelorette pad...

I dont know if you have ever done it before I haven't watched that many house videos, but I recommend you doing like a Dream House that you would want irl, in the Sims 3, maybe it could be like the last house video before Sims 4 comes out? Just thought it would be interesting to do. or if you have done it already then disregard my comment XP

This is simply amazing, I can't even describe how elegant this house is. One question, though: What is the cheat you entered to move objects small amounts (like you did with the counters in the island counter and desks in the study area)? If you or someone could answer this, it would be very much appreciated.
Velocitii moveobjects on and also disablesnappingtoslotsonalt on if im not mistaken, and holding down alt while rotating allows a free rotation instead of 8 direction rotation

The Sim Supply Why when I click in Download, says that i don't have the expansions used in the house? If I have Showtime and Late Night and there's sais (Base Game)
Loved the kitchen dinner and would totally have it in my house. In fact I loved the whole layout. Would change up some of the furniture and add clutter .. but then I am a woman lol!

The Sim Supply what is the cheatcode you use to put foundation on a second floor? I can only put some foundation before I start building my house and the video is to fast for me to see your cheatcodes haha thank you :)

I've downloaded a few extra cars for Sims 3, installed them with the launcher and the cars do appear in the game mode in the proper place however when i try to buy them the game crashes and shuts down without saving the game :/
Do you know why this is happening if so, do you know how to fix it?

I cant get .packages to show up in my game. sims3.packs show up and the nointro mod and the other mod that comes with it when you download the mod folder from modthesims work just not any cc i download that are .packages, can you help? i use a hp laptop at the moment but am getting a gaming computer for my birthday.

how did you place those kitchen furnitures next to eachother? is that a cheatcode or something and if so what do i type and how?
you open the cheat console by pressing ctrl+shift+C and then enter moveobjects on. it will then allow you to place object where you couldn't before. when you're done type moveobjects off.

I could be wrong but I would assume it's more of a reference to Superman since he has his fortress of solitude.
TheSimSupply can you make a family house with say maybe 4 bed, as I and I assume lots of u play with big familys and I love your houses but they are usually not many rooms.

When James drags a design to a fence, it applies it to the whole extension. When I do it, it only applies to one section. Is there a way to change it or is it just a glitch on my part (it has always done it this way for me, but I'm on mac).
+MultiplyByZ3r0 When you drag a design, press shift and click on the object, this makes things like walls, fences etc coloured all in one click.

Because i do know how to install cc and i have a bunch
But everytime it's furniture something goes wrong... but when i get from houses on the exchange and stuff it works!
And by the way it would be awesome if you kept doing the house buildings the way that you did with low profile where you use the base game and one expansion pack i would love to see one with late night a celeberty home would be awesome
If your furniture has an issue, you should get the Sims 3 Multi-Pack Installer. It'll extract a .package file from the Sims 3.pack file and you can put it in your mods file and that will probably fix the issue.

Type in the Cheatbox "moveobjects on" then "disablesnappingtoslotsonalt on" place Counters and then the other side press Alt and hold, move counter to the other one, then place the other counters. I hope i could help, my english is not so good, cuz i'm german :)
