Even I don’t think she underwent any surgery but even if she did, I don’t see the fuss around it!! Be it ‘Surgeries’ or ‘Replacements’ in films - everyone does it!! Even ‘Favouritism’ is not anything new in the industry!! Why are people behaving like ‘Alia Bhatt’ has started ‘Cosmetic Procedures’ or ‘Replacements’ or ‘Favouritism’ or ‘Nepotism’??!! Isn’t all these happening since ages??!! I feel like Alia gets a lot of unnecessary hate for being a successful woman. I mean Bollywood actors have done the same things as her and some have literally done criminal things but they don't get nearly as much hate as Alia. I don’t understand why people these days are sooooo brutally trolling, bullying and hating ‘Alia Bhatt’ for something so common in the industry!! Even I don’t think she underwent any surgery but even if she did, I don’t see the fuss around it!!
Be it ‘Surgeries’ or ‘Replacements’ in films - everyone does it!! Even ‘Favouritism’ is not anything new in the industry!! Why are people behaving like ‘Alia Bhatt’ has started ‘Cosmetic Procedures’ or ‘Replacements’ or ‘Favouritism’ or ‘Nepotism’??!! Isn’t all these happening since ages??!! Even 50’s and 60’s actresses, if you observe carefully looked very fat (not ‘Fat Shaming’ but just an observation compared to today’s ‘Zero Size’ trend) but their tummies would be like super flat, proving that they used to undergo ‘Tummy Tuck’ procedures!! It was common since that era!! Then why only ‘Alia Bhatt’ is getting trolled as if she is the one who introduced these procedures into the industry??!!
And I don’t see anything wrong in asking for work or requesting a director to cast her in a film!! And talking about she saying ‘I would become really upset if you don’t cast me’ could just be a figure of speech!! Even ‘Sara Ali Khan’ many times said in interviews that she fell at the feet and begged ‘Rohit Shetty’ to cast her!! That doesn’t mean she actually ‘Fell At His Feet’!! Right!! It’s just an ‘Exaggerated Figure Of Speech’!! Even we say such things many times in our daily routine like ‘Maan Ja Bhai, Warna Rodungi Mein’!! Does that mean we would actually start crying if the other person says no??!! It’s just a way of requesting people!! Everyone does that!! No actor goes to an office and say ‘I would like you to cast me in your film but if you don’t want to, then leave it, I won’t force you!! Suit Yourself!!’ People would keep asking till the time there’s a definitive ‘NO’!!
And secondly, ‘Alia Bhatt’ getting upset for ‘Inshallah’ movie getting shelved and other actresses getting upset for being replaced are not the same scenarios!! ‘Inshallah’ movie’s shooting already started and they shot a reasonable amount of the film!! So, her getting upset as her time, efforts and expectations got wasted is a different scenario!! Whereas, actors being considered for a film (though the shooting hasn’t started) but getting replaced after a second thought is a different scenario!! I’m not saying ‘Katrina Kaif’ or any other actor wouldn’t or shouldn’t get upset after getting replaced. Of course it is quite obvious to get upset!! Anybody would get upset!! But the comparison people make between ‘Alia Bhatt’ getting upset over a project to which she has given her time, efforts and expectations is different from an actor getting upset over a film nearly slipping out of her hands!! ‘Katrina Kaif’ was only ‘Considered’ not ‘Casted’!! And it happens in all the films. People consider actors who they think are suitable, short list them, discuss it with other team members and finally decide on one actor or if they feel otherwise they’ll select a new actor all together!! This is the ‘Process Of Casting’!! I’m not understanding why people are making a fuss out of it!!
And everyone knows how terrible ‘Katrina Kaif’ was in her initial days of acting!! People these days say ‘Nepo Kids’ keep getting offers inspite of bad acting and it is wrong on the part of ‘Talented Outsiders’!! Agreed!! But ‘Katrina Kaif’ was a ‘Terrible Outsider’ back in the days!! And still she kept getting offers and movies back to back with the biggest stars of Bollywood!! Why??!! How??!! Wasn’t it because she had the backing of ‘Salman Khan’ and ‘Akshay Kumar’??!! Weren’t they both Katrina’s ‘God Fathers’ in the industry??!! Didn’t she get unreasonable support and offers inspite of terrible acting in movies like ‘Boom’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’, ‘Partner’, etc….,??!! Don’t you think they had (In Peoples’ Words) ‘Snatched’ or ‘Stole’ films from other actresses for ‘Katrina Kaif’??!! Maybe those stories didn’t come out as ‘Social Media’ was not as prevalent as it is today!! Maybe in future those stories will also come out!! Only from the movie ‘New York’ she started giving decent performances and she became a wonderful actress right now after the ‘Tiger Series’!! But before that??!! She did terrrrrible acting in sooooo many films but still kept getting offers!! But ‘Alia Bhatt’ acting was phenomenal right from her second movie itself (Highway)!! In her second movie itself, at the age of 19, she gave such a bold and exemplary performance!! So why shouldn’t she be getting offers or why shouldn’t she be recommended by ‘Karan Johar’ or ‘Shahrukh Khan’!! Isn’t it quite obvious that probably they both felt ‘Alia Bhatt’ would be a better option for a vulnerable role like ‘Dear Zindagi’??!!
Just think practically!! It’s a story about a girl in her ‘EARLY 20s’ struggling from depression and commitment issues who eventually falls in love with her therapist who is in his 50s and married, hence, gets rejected by him owing to the huge age gap!! It’s about a young, childish, immature, impulsive, aggressive and confused girl who keeps falling in love and out of love because of her childhood trauma!! Sooooooo, ‘Katrina Kaif’??!! Really??!! Are you seriously real??!! Are you really serious??!! Just imagine ‘Katrina Kaif’ doing the ‘Family Dinner’ scene where she shouts and has an aggressive breakout!! Did you imagine??!! No??!! Because literally you cannot even imagine ‘Katrina Kaif’ in that scene!! And maybe ‘Karan Johar’ and ‘Shahrukh Khan’ predicted that and convinced the director to have a second thought!! What’s wrong??!! ‘Shahrukh Khan’ worked with ‘Katrina Kaif’ also previously in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’!! So, it’s not like he doesn’t like ‘Katrina Kaif’ or doesn’t want to work with her!! It’s just that, probably he might have felt that ‘Alia Bhatt’ suits this role better than ‘Katrina Kaif’!! He worked with ‘Katrina Kaif’ and knows her pros and cons!! Probably as a senior and an actor who is well versed in identifying which actor looks better in which role, he thought she would not be fit for this particular role!! Not everyone are suitable for every role!! There might also be roles for which even ‘Alia Bhatt’ might not be suitable!! It’s okay!! Why the fuss!! It’s not like just because of one movie ‘Dear Zindagi’, Katrina’s entire career got ruined!! Instead, on the contrary, ‘Katrina Kaif’ is one of the top Bollywood actresses in today’s time inspite of such a terrible start of her career!! All Thanks To ‘Salman Khan’ and ‘Akshay Kumar’!! Do you know that ‘Mahima Choudhary’ was the first choice and was also casted for the movie ‘Taal’!! At the end moment ‘Subhash Ghai’ replaced her with ‘Aishwarya Rai’!! Now does that mean ‘Aishwarya Rai’ stole that movie from ‘Mahima Choudhary’??!! NO, she was only replaced as ‘Subhash Ghai’ preferred her over ‘Mahima Choudhary’!! But this didn’t become the talk of the town back then as there was no social media filled with such hateful people!! So, ‘Aishwarya Rai’ escaped from the hate!!
