Kitty saying it was appalling that there were 32 Western television series lol. And then Polly mentions their competition in their time slot! I wonder if anyone at CBS was unhappy about that.
Western television shows were king back in the semi-early days of the medium. There was nothing like the Lone Ranger riding Silver and shooting those silver bullets.
Really Funny episode! Tom Ooston "bats in the belfry", "shifty naval officers", and hilarious schtick on the first round, bashing heads with paper beer bottles! Haaaaaaa
Kitty can be such a snob sometimes. Her comment after one of the challengers confirmed the number of westerns on TV - "That's appalling" - was more than a bit judgemental of the tastes of the American public who were after all the ones who were watching those westerns.
The first one was hands-down the best reveal out of all of the 50+ episodes I’ve watched thus far. Clever idea and very funny.
Polly did the right thing w/ 2nd group.
I liked the Round 1 way of revealing the western stunt man.
That’s my grandpa 😂😂😂
Edit that’s my great grandpa
But still it’s cool he also worked on the wizard of Oz
Polly showed integrity in the taxi driver segment.

Wow. This episode of To Tell the Truth aired 38 years before I was even here.
I loved Polly. She had a unique, droll sense of humor.

The American public's taste is even more dubious now with so many tacky, trashy shows.
Kitty was a spoiled brat!!!
@ZoneFighter1 Westerns would be great...although who would you get to play them? Hollyweird has NO one I'd watch play in one nowadays.
Maybe she thought there should be more panel game shows lol.
@@walkingtrails7776 Agreed. It would be a bunch of black, Asian, East Indian, and transgender cowboys! LOL
