I’m decluttering the toys in my daycare. I’ve accumulated so much in the last 16 years. Covid really helped with my spending. I only went shopping for essentials. Less is better!
That’s awesome! We agree less is best! As a childcare expert, do you have any great toy recommendations for a 6 and 10 year old? We can take something out to add something in!
Dear parents! When Your kids are very good behaviour all the time and always taking good care of their things, keeping their rooms very clean, loving their favorite things and want to make nice childhood collections of their things: books, clothes, toys, video games, clothes, DVDs and etc, then donataing is very wrong thing to do. If You have few space then storage boxes and shelves will help You out and Your kids will be very happy and thankful then, if they can keep their favourite things. Childhood things are very valuable and it is very sad, if they won’t see them anymore in their life. Every child should have the right to keep their things, if they can take good care of them all the time!!! Respectfully, Astra Viil ❤☺️🙏
Decluttering the kids stuff was definitely harder. I once got rid of my daughter’s stuff bunny(I thought she never played with). She cried over that for probably almost a year before I went out and bought another. I felt horrible.😟
I think we all have at least one moment of that! They never seem to notice it until it’s gone Also agreed with the kids stuff being more difficult we just care so much about them!
It's so hard for me to declutter my kids toys. My oldest loves all of the toys and never wants to declutter. My mother in law is a sale shopper and hoarder. She gives her too much stuff all the time and it's so hard for us. She loves it all and I keep telling grandma that it's overwhelming, but she doesn't stop.
We actually have considered doing a video on this. How to tell our MIL and other family members no and set boundaries for gifts and clutter! We’ve experimented with toy rotations but nothing works better then setting a boundary with family members who love to give. Let us think on this and we’ll follow up with you! It’s a tough thing for sure.
Great job!
lovely things

@@thetidytwo27 snap circuits, Legos and magna tiles were popular. I pretty much have 0-4 year olds now. They like magna tiles too.

You should have donated the tiny Barbie stuff to Chinpals. It's chinchillas holding things!
The room looks great!👍
I have never heard of Chinpals! I’ll look it up! Thanks!

Hi! No blinds and/or drapes on the playroom windows?
Nope! It’s on the second floor and the sunlight is beautiful in the morning! We use to have some but took them down in our playroom makeover video.
