12:39 I was really hoping there was the rook sacrifice followed by the same pattern checking king with light square bishop on g6 to fork king and queen with knight on e6! Their idea was still killer though 👌
When I was a kid, I came up on my own (meaning without having seen it before-it already existed), the Goring Gambit. Against the other kids, it was great.
Crazy how much stuff this guy puts out for free
Thanks for showcasing my game as the first one :D Now I'm up 200 elo to 1415 because of your rep ;) Thanks!
Watching this video after my friend just criticized me for getting bad positions and getting lucky in the von pop. Must be a sign, von pop OP
Appreciate ur Work Senpai
I love this gambit! As a Jobava London player, it would be fun to mix it up after 1. d4 d5 2. Nc3 Nf6 3. e4!?
Then you will often have to deal with the Hubsch Variation ...3Nxe4 instead of 3...de4.

Oh! And I know the Goring Gambit is not nearly so exciting as the Gambits you are playing. I just developed really quickly.
Thanks!

doesn’t Rxe6 work? fxe6 Nxe6 queen can’t move because Bg6#.
7. White queen wanders off away from the action to grab a rook. Black queen comes in, knight comes in, checkmate.

Gambits. Worst way to learn chess.
Cuious why you think that? Ive heard Hikaru say gambits help you learn to attack.
@MrCoveri Maybe but it's certainly one of the best ways to enjoy chess !
scoot off from here Grand Master
Interesting thought, I thought gambits force a player to calculate better
