@marksavochkin9776 mines do 20 damage on explosion in VWA (compared to 1 damage in vanilla), so I sometimes stack them under praets / menaces as it is better single target damage than NTP if you mean something else then I don't understand. It is mines, so of course I shoot ground to place them the damage from the mine electrocution was not changed (in neither DPS nor total damage via duration) but mines stay around longer
hey there I just realized that there is no description of ND that would compare it against base 6x2 but rather only descriptions that compare it to other difficulties (namely Lx2EX). So until such description is made I can only give you a general idea ND is a difficulty that was made with an idea that a lot of other high difficulties went into direction of very high enemy variety in waves. Lots of spitting / shooting and otherwise threatening enemies and very little grunts. ND is an attempt to make difficulty that is heavy on grunts to be challenging. There is still plenty of ranged enemies but not as many as, say, Lx2 or Lx2EX. Also addition of new enemy types introduced by More Enemy Variants mod. If you want relative difficulty comparison (and those difficulty names make sense to you) then it is something like the following: 6x2 -> 6x2EX -> 6x2 Diablo -> ND -> Lx2 -> Lx2EX
no detonators)?... if max enemy diversity value is higher.... there is a chance to spawn a bulk ever 2 minutes? i got 11 bulks on 4 eggs mission while tested that parameter with other dwarves.... dont know how this idea could be done in custom difficulty
do you like shooting the ground to damage bugs or you tried this OC before and liked that?
NTP does next to zero damage from AoE. Most of it comes from the DoT effect, so I usually just shoot in general direction of bugs
