i think only vwa can give every player chance to consistently finish x2 swarms, but still, only developed and experienced dwarves on Hoxxes can adjust their builds to be aoe focused, you demonstrated how vwa males you able to beat x2 swarmes, and your own experience to best 4player scaling enemies, im happy i found your video
> i think only vwa can give every player chance to consistently finish x2 swarms Strongest VWA1 engi solo builds are actually not that far from strongest solo vanilla engi build (which is 1x123 EM Refire Stubby + either 23122 Roll Control or 11122 / 23122 Inferno), there is just more options of what you can run on VWA For example of vanilla engi steamrolling solo high difficulties just as much as VWA you can check these videos 8x2 (roll control, by @emctwo1692) - th-cam.com/video/WDhawGln26M/w-d-xo.html Lx2ND (roll control, also @emctwo1692) - th-cam.com/video/H-4pXSU0vlY/w-d-xo.html Lx2 (my inferno run, mentioned above) - th-cam.com/video/RVUToaJ1jyY/w-d-xo.html Assuming good terrain and no movement limiting factors (like salvage and escort) Lx2p1 swarms can be pretty consistent > Lx2p4 Lx2p4 definitely has WAY more RNG in it. Some wave compositions are extremely toxic, although this run only took 3-5 attempts after settling on a build if I remember correctly. I also did A LOT of VWA driller Lx2p4 grinding and thats where true RNG is. Because unlike engi who can deal with every enemy type while not interrupting general his damage output, driller has some enemies he just cannot deal with in such high numbers / hp / under pressure, so most of the attempts were just praying to not get a damn menace every 15 seconds
maaaan those patrol bots are the real problem, haz6 type L is hard bruh, i tried adjusting my build to take those down fast but its was a real problem i have not succeeded
Very true, patrol bots can limit some of the build options. Having 2 or 3 of those things alive and around you turns even low difficulty situations into a real threat > haz6 type L Lx2 is not based on haz6 btw It is quite noticeably harder than 7x2 and mostly based on 7 numbers: "Hazard 6 hp scaling, but Hazard 7 damage, speed, and wave timers. EnemyCountModifier is based off of Hazard 7x2."
Epic gameplay I love these
