So inspiring! I kept having to hit pause to add more books to my wish list.

I’m happy to hear it was inspiring and helpful to you, I do the same thing when I watch TH-cam videos on homeschooling 😁

Aw, sorry to hear you won't be doing Heart of Dakota this year. We've LOVED using HOD over the years. Looking forward to seeing what you'll use. Really enjoyed seeing all your lovely books! Very nice video!! ;) Blessings on your new school year! :)

Lisa thank you so much for your kind comments. We are basically just slowing down a little bit. Another HOD mom suggested this is a good place to slow down if needed, and I thought it was good advice. Since HOD only has 11 guides, we won’t miss anything, it will workout for us to continue with it the following year, all the way through 12th grade. Since my son is only 9, about to turn 10 soon, I thought doing Resurrection to Reformation would be a better fit for 6th grade instead of 5th grade. But we will miss HOD this coming year. It was not an easy decision to make. Blessings to you as well! Thanks for watching! 😁

@@lovelessons4192 Yes, that makes perfect sense. We always used the guides where we did Little Hearts in 1st, Beyond in 2nd, Bigger in 3rd, Preparing in 4th, Creation to Christ in 5th, and Resurrection to Reformation in 6th, and so on. Its wise to slow it down in your situation. The guides are all SO rich and wonderful. We've used all of the guides for our five children, graduating our oldest two, with three left in middle and high school guides. I'm a new subscriber, and am enjoying your videos. :) I hope you have a great new year! ;)
