Thanks for this! I'm taking apart 3 or 4 books soon.
    Here's a fun story:
I finally bit the bullet and made a large order from a company including two journal/devotionals just like that one. While waiting for them to arrive I came across a HP journal for a really discounted price in a discount store. I was always curious about the disc system, but had put it out of my mind until I got my hands on this journal. Then the books came a few days later and my brain snapped with the possibilities. I immediately dove in, filled an online cart, slept on it, emptied it out, then judiciously bought only an arc punch and two sets of discounted metal discs.
I've always been super into efficiency AND the ability to customize and I'm just bouncing at the possibilities. Now, if only we had Joann stores in Puerto Rico :P

I use a box cutter and a metal ruler. Staples will also cut the binding off.

I did that once. Once. Whew. If only we could go somewhere and borrow some sort of industrial cutter and chop it in one or two piles!

Yasssss, that would be amazing! Cause there's so many book bound planners I would explore if the process of getting them on discs was easier!

Printers like on college campuses and those that do brochures in your area. Art departments usually have big cutters and some public libraries.

You can also check if you have a quick print place near you . . .they should have a cutter. For a minimal cost, they can just cut off the off whole binding edge in one swoop. :)

Yep. FedEx office can cut off the binding for about $5. They can turn it in to a spiral for another nominal fee. Or you can bind any other way that you want.

I learned a better way of attaching the front and back covers to a planner/book! Thanks! Great idea!

you need to try a rotary cutter and ruler for this cutting process!

Sometimes places like Staples or FedEx can make it into a spiral bound, i do not know if they can also disc bind it. However, they probably can cut it for you.

Would Un-do sticker remover help/work on binder glue?
I have never used the product, but have seen it on lots of videos and wondered before, but never asked out loud.
