I love that were getting project justice but i wished that we would get the first one, that game was amazing.
I miss this so much. The aesthetic the soundtrack and everything is just so 90’s/ early 00’s Capcom.
This game's soundtrack is nothing compared to its predecessor Rival Schools's soundtrack, which was composed by Setsuo Yamamoto.

So true! Project Justice/Rival Schools deserves a remake. Team Up Technique and Party Up Technique are still epic and not to mention Rival Schools Remake deserves a new game system like each characters with a different 3 categories, Speed, Technique and Power. Like for example, Batsu is the Power Type, Hinata is the Technique Type and Kyosuke is the Speed Type.
So underrated! Gan, Kyosuke and Akira were my mains

I just love Rival Schools on PS1 so much.
I like the DC version too, but the first one it's so good the sfx, songs, the sketchs arts in loading, damm this game is almost a hidden gem.

The franchise has been mentioned numerous times through TvC and SFV. Even Ono when he was running the fighting game division had interest in making a new Rival Schools.

This is Rival Schools 2, some reason Capcom change the name for the sequel.

@@NeoHD23 probably because the first game was not on the Dreamcast, so calling it 2 would make people wonder where the first one is. Or at least that's probably their train of thought.
As for Project Justice... it's a little bit closer to the Japanese name which translates to Private Justice Academy. Rival Schools is a concept that's easier for westerners to understand, so that's likely why they changed it to Rival Schools initially.
I do prefer Rival Schools though.
