Just wanna say I’m thankful for your tutorials and has helped me become more consistent and allowed me to have fun learning all the tricks in Ae, Ps, and Pr so thank you so much
Cinecom : battled with an old enemy called "no budget"
Also Cincom : "using a weird tripod that don't exist to take the moving UFO model scene"
Aslam it does search camera slider

love from top of the world
You are the most helpful filmmaking channel on youtube, thank you
@6:51 When he added turbulent displacement--who else immediately thought of Josh Connolly dancing hard-core to Film Riot's turbulent displacement song?
TURBULENT DISPLACEMENT, TURBULENT DISPLACE
🙋♂️
We need to battle "no budget"
Blender: cough cough
2.81 out now wow👍😂
@Het Hondenkanaal ahh what specs of computer is good for blender?
@@jekmedrano4166 any really just rendering time will change depending on how good your pc is
I love this effect. It's so easy to shoot a little model and you get great results!
Really amazing what you can do with just a toy and a green screen. Good job guys!
I FINALLY have access to premier pro! I have been watching your videos forever and I have never been able to create anything you do. I can’t wait to do something!!!
I'm watching you from Namibia in Africa you guys you are the reason I'm here today.
Tips to Hi-Fi this method:
1.) Weather your model. The factory paints (even the thruster scorching) on those die cast models is basic color matching at best, a dirty wash will make them read more true. You can use some slightly watered down black or brown acrylic art paint (I've also used an instant coffee sludge in some of my art pieces), don't be afraid to glob it on, because you'll be wiping most of it off and trying to leave paint in the nooks and crannies to make the details pop.
2.) Study shots of ships landing in other movies to get a sense of how the weight of your model should effect the speed of it's landing. Time remapping is good for a cutesy gag, but if you're shooting for production value, you want the effect to feel tangible. The speed of your landing should inform the length of action in your background plate and not the other way around.
3.) Practical is always better, but don't be afraid to digitally enhance some features, like landing gear. Blender is free, and it's a valuable tool.
The insights on cinema that this guy brings to the show....yeah Yannick! We love you!
i learned one thing for sure, creativity is everything!
The premiere pro masters have done it again 🔥👏🏼
You could also use a pole attached to the back that you key or mask out. You can just take a pencil and wrap it in green paper. This is good for flying. You will have to have fairly smooth hand motions however.
Also you can use two motion control sliders to make scene more cinematic. Use one for camera and another for miniature model. Mask it out and then use heat distortion effect to make it more realistic. Another thing which we can do is to add blur on the scene and few more dust particles. Also we can make miniature model more cinematic with the help of some paint and scratching it.
THAT WAS AWESOME GUYS ♥
first i thought that's not possible. But you guys proved nothing is impossible
Wow awesome tutorial. Thanks again guys
Quick tip for more realistic shadows in Premier or AE:
Duplicated the overlay layer of the ship and use the "Fill" effect to make it black, then the "Guassian Blur" effect to blur the shadow. Now all you have to do is flip vertical and do some scale keyframes.
Awesome and precise!
William Fischer thank you
The best Copy Cat from all! Epic!
Finally you guys are again making something good
Good job guys! thankful for your tutorials.. You guys are amazing and very helpfull

Above and beyond. You guys are awesome!
Cinecom.......you are the best...................
I really learn a worthy fun and simple way to make 3d for my mid-end pc. Thanks dude, it's will be really useful...
The Ship is Bigger then a Person and there is no Landing Gear good video but how can you add the Gear?
Well, you could try making the gear as a DIY to add to the model or making CGI landing gear. That gives you the best of both worlds Practical Effect (Model) with Special Effects with CGI.
The DIY can be a model Bashing, mixing parts from one model to adding to another or 3D printer/ resin printer.
For CGI try Blender app. It is free.
You guys really help
Cinecom is the best

Looks good!!!
So awesome - nice!
Without CGI, but with motion control slider.. 🤦
😎👊
He said you can use fishing wire as a substitute

ARUN RAJ ...not cgi. 🤦🏻♂️
The slider is completely unnecessary. It just makes it easier for repeat takes I guess. Motion control cameras were used in the original star wars to give the illusion of ship motion. A lot of it was shot with the model sitting still and the camera moving around it
Excellent video. One comment if I may, If you would have masked yourself in front of the "rental" at 9:24 that would have been much more powerful.
Btw everybody, the track in the beginning is called "Star Wars: Shadow of the Death Star" by Graham Plowman.
well edit sir ...
