@@skrillaskrilla9166 i just sold mine to get this. Denon gear only reads engine OS beat grids and not rekord box. that was a issue for me because when i dj gigs its always on CDJs. also on the prime go you cant zoom out when DJing and that frustrated the crap out of me, you can only zoom in and out a tiny bit. you get what you pay for and the ominus duo is better
You just saved me a bunch of headache. I'm a Traktor guy (yeah, I know, I know) but knowing this thing just won't play ball (and reading the manual) and there are better options out there. Wanted to like it!
I think to get the music streaming to work from your phone to the device, the workflow might be that you have to use Tidal, add the song to your Tidal playlist, then browse to your Tidal playlist on the controller and load the track to one of the decks and then it should output the sound to your wireless speakers. I say this assuming Tidal is supported on the controllers interface as it is in Rekordbox?
I got the opus quad myself, but I was so leaning towards picking up the Duo for camping parties. Great review! Thanks buddy! I'll definitely check out Denon since you can't stream anything to it. You save me some money, and a fat headache next time I go camping!!
I like your no BS reviews. I would say at least half the features those 30 min long videos go over most people don’t even use or know how to use. As far as standalone controllers go I went with the Mixtrack Pro go so I could DJ around my pool and use it to practice with the included speakers.
Meh. The Numark Mixstream Pro Go is half the price but has speakers and Engine OS, which plays both Rekordbox and Denon/Engine files. And it looks better, too.
You have update the firmware for it to work with Serato btw
It works with Serato. Update the firmware on the unit and update Serato to the latest update and it works flawlessly
For the price they shoulda made it tilt screen and give it Beatsource. The prime go kills this.
What do u think the pros and cons are between the 2 devices?? Been hearing this alot
@@skrillaskrilla9166 the batteries last longer on the alpha theta and it has a better Bluetooth receiver. That’s it…

Whats wrong with traktor 😅
I love it, please elaborate in the (i know, i know) jajjajajaja

I love your review. It was very honest. I also love your non chalant attitude.
Agreed… feels fresh too. I really respect his game.

Also you have to analyze your songs from Rekordbox export mode 1st btw
Love the honesty, nicely done.
I concur with all points raised.

At 800/900 I'm in, over 1500 no way. Thanks for the unbiased vid🤟
Agree with you Joe at 100%

are you dum
Nice honest review. Cool
did you update ur controller before making the video cuz serato DJ was added in the lastest update
Probably not.
It would take me 3 months just to pronounce the name correctly… 😂
Thanks for the great honest review! Definitely won’t be getting this controller. Will look at the Denon Prime.
Hi Joe, has anyone else asked if it does stems or track separation?
I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I definitely don't recall seeing those buttons on it like the FLX-10
I mean not using rekordbox on this is pretty limiting, I really like mine.
You wrote omnUs and not omnis at the beginning of the video.
Almost pulled the trigger until I found out there was no streaming. Kind of defeats the purpose.
streaming you buy the extra gear wtff
@@fullfunk what extra gear are you referring to? I’m talking about streaming services (tidal, beatsource)
Streaming will soon be available in future updates
if your broke just say that
Thx JB. Market will dictate Not for me
I love my prime go
Prime Go is outdated... The little tiny jogs seem annoying too...Almost purchased it ... Glad I didn't...lol
My Numark Mixstream Pro + at $500. cheaper has more functionality than that thing 🤔
With Numark you should be gentle and white gloves.
This one yes is cut functional, but build quality is on top level
It's overpriced
..the price is insane..😒
1000 is okey but 1500 no sense
Excelente y honesta opinión, De verdad q no me gusta. 😮
This is a hard pass for me… & for $1500!? Is Pioneer out of their minds??? It really seems like they are truly loosing it…
@@michaellynch8612 just curious - what were you using prior to these?
so its pretty much worthless
