God, how I wish I'd been there! My musical climate, play that funky music white boys till you die. I'm planning on visiting the US sometime this summer, maybe I'll be lucky enough to see one of your shows.
Glad you enjoyed! I have a bunch of other recordings you may like, in that case. A bit of a different vibe, but I recommend checking out this recent Eggy recording. They’re a newer group that is definitely going places. th-cam.com/video/z0VG-ScxaxU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=FymABoimEEC0twlL
Unfortunately, very weak female vocals with serious pitch problems that make it nearly impossible to enjoy this performance. Maybe nerves, but still needs a LOT of work. Too bad, as the level of musicianship is very good overall.
Listen to "Live in the Red Room - Feel This Way", you'll get a much different impression of the singer. Agreed this doesn't do her any favours, she's actually very good.
@@bertspeggly4428 Thanks for the suggestion. I listened to the Red Room track and am convinced that the vocal must have gone through some form of auto-tune processing. Think about it...the Boston gig was on 12/8/2023 and the Red Room recording is from March 11, 2023 or thereabouts. You don't go from having little or no pitch problems to basically singing nothing in tune over the course of a few months. That Red Room recording was mixed and mastered, so again, auto-tune is the only plausible explanation. There is an old adage that if you cannot play in tune and in time, you probably won't find much work in this business. I agree with @brendon-holland that they have youth on their side and ample opportunities for growth.
Sounds great live!

Fhackin BOSTON kid. My city! Next time I’ll there! Great jams and great vibes homies!
GROOVY
👍👌
That’s a nice groove, and it sounds great!
Great stuff, just wish the audio was better.
Agree about vocalist. But rhythm section is shit hot. Bass, drums and guitar - could be in a different band
Ouch. You guys really need someone else on vocals. Like very badly. Otherwise you guys are awesome.

I don’t disagree with you @jrod1077, that was kind of my impression as well. They’re young and talented, and have plenty of room to grow as well.

Man, marie, the vocalist rocks, she's hot and talented
The music is damn complicated to sing live, and she is doing well, and she is cute, doesn't disturbing me from funk.
