- Hello guys, In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to make an awesome DIY Bluetooth Speaker at home, so let's get started :)

thanks for the video i had some busted up beats headphones so i used the video to convert them into a nice beats cube, im very happy with it glad i didnt toss them out...
Like the build, it’s presented nice and simple but I wouldn’t have placed the 8403 module on top of the batteries as it gets very hot in operation. The Pam needs a heatsink and good airflow
Add a tone controller, check two speakers push and pull air at once by correcting polarities, make box airtight and heatsink on amp then it would be perfect.
these days is cheaper to buy than make yourself and it will be way more compact with better sound quality, find out myself when was building mosfet amps 100w, 200w, 400w, and 800w rms
i like your creation nice one :) but you cant add glue to all sides bze its hard to opn one side shd screw ...
Very nice build, even added a port and cleaned the wires up! It's a shame you didn't check the speaker polarity, One of them appears (and sounds) out of phase degrading the audio quality and making it sound pretty awful. If you ever pull it apart, add a heatsink to the PAM8403 and switch one of the speakers polarities!
Thats right it does sound out of phase caz of the polarity one speaker coil will move in the opposing direction
the port barely does anything, it was not according to the ts parameters of speakers and box size. He just added it just for the hell of it.
Switch the phase on one driver and the sound will be a lot better
If you have added a passive radiator it will be better

i did the same, but i used 10w speakers, and a passive radiator.

Two questions, one can you add music reacting rgb leds if yes how would add the wiring to your scumatic 2) can the acrylic be clear to see leds?

You can use any boost converter. But the boost converter i used here is the most cheapest converter i guess.

If yes then which type of battery and how to connect them?? And do we need to use all different colours of wires or is it fine if we use only black and red?? Instead of 1865 battery can I use a phone battery like BLACKBERRY 3.7V 1800mAH or can I use NOKIA 3.7V 700mAH?
I am using step Up module (power booster) LM2596 instead of MT3608 for supplying output voltage 5.2V. Every time I switched on it is not working and giving weird sound. All other parts are used as you have instructed. Kindly suggest.
Well presented project brother but my concern is with continuous playback pam8403 heats a bit which is not safe with those 18650 other than that it is very good👍

Hi, are yo sure you can go with charging the batteries and playing music (i.e. fill the batteries and drain it) at the same time? I tried that once and the charger module got hot as hell or maybe even released the magic smoke. There is kinda UPS board for cheap, which is about twice as large, but I believe it is more suitabe for this purpose.
no bass heard because its out of phase, try changing the polarity of either one of the speakers.. And also its better to use passive radiator than a bass reflex port in a small enclosure. I can produce lower end than on ported ones in that size :)

1. нельзя, без контроллера, соединять параллельно две и более банки лития
2. пайка производится не "намазыванием", а прогревом припоя
3. согласен с комментарием "Максим Я", но не на 100%. если нет выхода воздуха, то переполюсовать динамики это разумно, но на видео видно подобие фазоинвертора, а значит переполюсовка не нужна, иначе динамики буду глушить друг друга и как следствие - отсутствие низов.
4. данный конфиг, с абсолютно аналогичными компонентами, был мною собран более года назад, но из-за одного источника питания на блютус модуль и усилитель дает не хилые помехи. выход нашел только один - два раздельных источника питания.

а чем вредит параллельное соединение без контроллера, если аккумуляторы абсолютно идентичные, вот при последовательном да, соглашусь, там быстро выйдут из строя, колонка прикольная, миниатюрная и красивая, но я бы ему посоветовал посмотреть другие усилители, 8403 со временем повышает КНИ и с каждым разом приходится слушать тише и тише, лишь бы слушать музыку а не хрипы, 2 колонки было на нём у меня, у всех одна и та же проблема, усилитель брал и оригинал и подделку и с регулятором громкости

What is the mAH of the 18650 battery including both batteries?? Can I use a blackberry lithium battery of 1800mAH, 6.8Wh?
5200mAh, you can use mobile's battery also. But i suggest to use larger capacity battery for long uses.

DIY Builder and the positive wires of the amplifier should be connected to the negative part of the speakers? Can u plz give me ur email or something so that I can contact u? And I also wanted to know how to connect 2 of those 18650 batteries?? I don’t have those nickel strips so instead of that can I use a normal electric wire to join both positive to positive n negative to negative? And when I connect the charger module to electricity,the Bluetooth module should show some light or not?

Those speakers got the look, though having 2 Times 3 watt speakers would be like having a mini tape recrder. You could of had put like 2 20 watt speakers instead then the sound would be pumping
hi there, good build. but may I ask, at 4:38 , you had used hot glue. may I ask, can hot glue be used for all electronic work as above? because despite the hot glue covering the circuit board, the speakers still seem to work. Pardon me is this question seems too trivial, beach I have no knowledge of elctronics and I would like to learn more. thanks ou.
No. The hot glue won’t affect the performance of the board becusse the hot glue substance is rubber. The rubber itself is not conductive, which is why the circuit board still works with it covering the board.

Use a 5v supply. And no the batteries can't generate 5v on their own. Hence the converter.

Yes depending on what the wattage of the speaker is basically make sure the speaker is also 20 watts and it will work out ok

I want to build one good speaker using 1) 8 ohm 15w mini woofer, 2) 4ohm 4w speakers and 2) 4ohm 5w speakers. I have the box building down........ just not sure abt power banks , charging voltages and wat not dnt need a whole walk me through presentation ....... just a basic run down wld be really awesome and appreciated

Why do we need boost converter can u explain me
I know it. We use boost converter to boost the output voltage. Such as, The voltage of a laptop battery is 3.7volt and the amplifier works best with 5volt power supply, So he set the boost converter at 5v output so that the speaker can give better sound. I hope you have understand. THANK YOU>.

You shouldn’t power the amplifier and Bluetooth modules with the same power supply. This creates a ground loop and affects the sound quality. You need to use a 5v dc to dc ground isolator to prevent it

Add passive bass
You can use Li-Ion without power protection and don't use STEP-UP. If you remove first resistor at + input power in amplifer and bluetooth reciver you can power it directly from 3.6V up to 4.2V (maybe more, i don't tested more than 4.2V without resistor)

I have used the same amplifier board but the output sound is wavy! Means 3second speaker on 1second speaker off and the 3 second speaker on. Its repeating! So what should I do?

Speaker looks nice but where's the bass? If you solder on of the speaker cables in opposite directions, the second speaker acts as a kind of active membrane which would result in a better bass output (if the enclosure is sealed properly)
