I fully support a woman's right to choose. But I'm very glad your mother didn't abort you. I'm so sorry to hear about your father. My mother was also diagnosed with cancer when I was in high school and passed away just 9 months later, when I was 15. There's no telling how hard it is to hear that your parent has cancer, and then lose them, at such a young age. And it can make it very difficult to go on to be successful but you managed to go far and be one of the few loud voices of reason in our US Congress. I greatly appreciate all that you do to fight for our freedoms. I hope you run for president one day, assuming Donald Trump doesn't regain power and take away the people's right to choose by voting. Keep up the good fight!

I'm a Democrat from Central Texas & when I was a kid I had a relative who gave birth in the 6th month, but sadly the child didn't live long because their organs weren't fully developed. My relative later found out that she had a blood condition that she was prescribed medication for & was able to have another child. Ever since then before I even knew what Roe V. Wade was my thoughts on being "pro-life" vs. "pro-choice" have always been abortion is fine in the 1st & 2nd trimesters since it's likely the child can't survive outside the womb on their own, but in the 3rd trimester it depends on if the birth will effect the life of the mother.
My Daughter's baby was without a developed brain at 6 weeks. Kentucky Doctor had to tell her tuff luck

I know we have the right to do what we want with our bodies, but murder is not one thing we should do. Even a one month after a baby is formed is human just very small and supporting women to abort makes them murder. A child is the best gift the Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ Himself gives to the people. The parents of these people who abort gave his/her time and effort to raise their children so people today should never murder a child even if it is still unborn. It's easy to hate. it's lazy to know that you are being hateful and not moral, and do nothing to change. If you want to prove a point, exercise your argument intelligently. Threatening or vilifying people just because they a little smarter than you and darker than you is being pretty lazy.
The way we make America Great is to impose some tax fairness. Impose some criminal justice fairness. What is Criminal Justice Fairness you should ask?
Ok, example: A rich white guy gets convicted of a crime, and he is still in the running to be President.
A much lower-middle class black guy got caught stealing some cell phones or something when he was 16 and he goes to jail for four years, is a convicted felon and can't even get a job even after serving his debt to society.
So, Maybe the Rich guy got a bunch of really bad lawyers and they were paid for by donations from his followers, sort of like his religious cult, and he got more lawyers but tried as he might, he couldn't win because his lawyers were mediocre and inept?
So Maybe, the poor black kid got a Public Defender that advised him to take the Plea Deal and do the time, sure it was a lesser felony, but still it's on his record and he did time. So he can't get a job at Wal Mart, while the White Guy probably sits on the Board of Directors of Wal Mart.
Maybe in a Great America, we have 20 -30 percent fewer overseas military and black ops bases? Maybe we keep taxes here at these level for two years and slowly increase them on people making any form of compensation over $500 thousand per year by just one percent. Then we make a few small budgetary changes?
Like Maybe we reduce the Department of Defense by $50 or $60 Billion dollars per year and half of that goes to pay down the Federal Debt and the rest gets split into other projects:
Tiny homes (literally 100 square foot, finished sheds) temporary housing projects to house the homeless, maybe $5 Billion per year.
Maybe $5 Billion goes to pay for entirely or partially pay for childcare for people making less than $100 thousand a year?
Maybe $5 Billion goes to pay for eldercare for people (who's parents live with them) but they have to work and can't afford to hire in home care and their parents don't need institutionalization.
Maybe $5 Billion goes into the Social Security Trust Fund so it does NOT become insolvent by 2033 or 2034 as the CBOE says it will if we do nothing?
Maybe $5 Billion goes into Public Education (Not Rich People's zip codes) to support new schools, and better equipment and programs for Vocational Education and better teacher pay?
Maybe $5 Billion goes to pay for expanding residential solar and wind installations that charge a battery in the garage so people can charge their EV at home, or helps pay for chargers to be installed in apartment complexes so people can hook up their car in their apartment parking lot?
Maybe $5 Billion goes to pay for better Reverse Osmosis and Desalinization Water Processing plants? Why? Because we have 70% of the Earth being water and we are somehow running out of water?
Maybe $5 Billion goes into Reforesting America's public lands and reintroducing the full range of animals that was destroyed to protect ranchers? We could just not try to raise cattle or sheep next to a wildlife protected land management region knowing that that ecosystem has deer and elk and moose and grey wolves and black and brown bears.
Here's a radical one, ready?
Maybe $5 Billion to build the seasonal migration of the Plains Bison zone by buying a single 1200 mile by 20 mile wide tract of land that was marginal farming land at best and restrict it to restoration of the Great Plains Bison and Predator range. And it would be off limits to hunting except for native tribal people that MUST hunt using traditional weapons (yes, like their ancestors did). All the way from Northwest Texas to Canada. Crazy? I love it.
I am up to $40 Billion or so.
All just by redirecting a small percentage from the Department of Defense, by closing 20-30 percent of our overseas bases, especially since our Asian and European Partners are getting up to speed in their own defense.
