I'll say this, these gloves feel very very comfortable in my opinion. I was in the army for 6 years and I used these types of gloves during combat. They're super nice they slip on easily and I recommend you get a pair of these gloves. You'll love them

these gloves are really good, I bought then nearly 4 years ago and handling well even after heavy use. WILL RECOMEND to army, Navy cadets or even military personnel but I would recommend Oakley's or mechanix for military personnel

Nixon Chan they’re legal. The plastic knuckles don’t give any advantage when fighting. They hardly come down over the front of the knuckle anyway

These knuckles are broken easily if they're plastic like it was the case with mine.
I used such gloves for climbing ropes and pull-ups mostly and they teared after a year and a half. (The knuckles weared out first after a few push ups honestly).
I wish those were metal or the asphalt wasn't so hard to the skin :D. I mean main reason of buying those is for the knuckles if not for them I would go with leather gloves.
Mine were from China but they look identical to ones shown in the video.
i have a pair of these very comfortable use them for chopping 2x4's or for other purposes, kind of big on me but otherwise very good

These gloves are great but the manufacturer moved on to other projects. There are a ton of similar gloves out there but It's tough to know if they are good to go without actually testing them. I update the link on my blog post every so often when I get to test a similar pair that perform well.

I deliver food to some shady areas throughout Michigan, Northern Indiana, and Northern Ohio. I’m looking for gloves that can hold up to cold weather and moisture, but also allow me maximum dexterity. These look super comfortable, but will they hold up to cold and moisture?
Hello Nick, these gloves will certainly help protect against gusts of wind. But I wouldn't use them for cold or wet weather purposes. Over the long term, I think that you would be disappointed.

Every time you let that slide ride back without a snap cap or a round in there it made me physically wince.. other than my OCD about gun etiquette, cool review. Picking some up myself from amazon, though I believe they're called JIUCY now, or something.

Yeah absolutely, I just mean using the slide release and letting ride back all the way without anything being chambered. I'm just a total snob about it. Guns to me are life saving tools, so I treat them as though they're delicate, even though I know they aren't. But my Dad has a Gen 3 17 and he cracked the slide by doing that all the time, blew up in his hand half way through a mag. Maybe 2k rounds through that gun.... should not have blown the slide half off the lower. Gunsmith (A Glock Guy) said that you can do that every now and then, but continuous abuse like that will eventually constitute a catastrophic failure. Glock is my weapon of choice, no doubt... but I think we all get a little too caught up the "Glock Perfection" and "Glock Reliability" propaganda. Obviously the tracked record is there, but they are mechanical things with various moving parts that need maintaining and lubrication. Yes they're TANKS even tanks have some exploitable weaknesses. In summery... I would die a little inside if I were to hear that someone got killed or raped due to their gun blowing up from poor maintenance or negligent practice with the weapon.
Thanks for sharing, Battlescar. I definitely appreciate you conveying the info. In the last 20 years of using Glocks, I had never seen or even heard of a "failure" like that. Those types of drills are imperative (at least for me) especially if you chose not to keep one in the chamber.

For me, I feel that these gloves have too much padding for the gym but it's all about personal preference. Others on here may find them perfect for that purpose.

Do the knuckle guards actually extend over the knuckle when in a clenched fist, because I know a lot of these gloves have a problem where the guard stays more towards the back of the hand than the actual knuckles themselves
Hello Jacob, these actually line up quite well. I have had this pair for a while. I'm not sure if the issue is with a specific batch or with the whole line in general.
I can speak for this pair and they are good to go.

I think with lots of gloves (the ones that use metal) are designed to just add weight too punches.
I know what gloves you're on a bout or at least what you're on about and yes they fit fine especially compared to the ones you're thinking of, the material is different

Hello Daniel, with all the red flag laws and a bit of "craziness" going on in the world, you have to be careful. Even the stuff we type on here gets noticed. My advice is to be smart. You are both adults so it needs to be handled that way.
Plan it accordingly with a neutral location as well as "neutral" people there as witnesses. Keep it as safe as possible and don't let your emotions get the best of you.
In the end, you want to walk away justified and without future liability or "REGRET."

Are they resistant to cutting? Can you grab a knife from its blade without getting cut?
Hello bluwng, they do offer some protection but they aren't really made for that. I'd look into options that offer more Kevlar in their construction, for that type of application.

Hello Shadowm you will definitely feel it. Proper conditioning is a good idea, with or without gloves. But they will protect you from abrasions, skin tears, and other annoyances that can certainly get "in the way."

I totally understand, Shadow. But if I told you anything different, I'd be full of shit.
Think of a boxer, a pro... These guys punch stuff, all day. And even they, with all that conditioning and talent, wear "mitts" in order to protect their hands. And, they still break their hands, quite often. Now, Imagine us "regular" folk..
When we wear these gloves. Yes, you have polymer plastic as a barrier from an outside factor, but if you choose to strike with a closed fist while wearing them, keep in mind that you are also, punching that hard plastic from the inside, as it strikes the other factor on the outside.

I reviewed these a couple years back. The company has gone onto other models but stopped making this model.
I have had a lot of people contact me and state that the "knock-offs/ inferior build" are everywhere and fall apart in no time.

The build quality was terrible. After minimal use, they would begin to come apart. Some had issues with the hard plastic in the knuckles, others had problems with the stitching.
I'm sure that there are good options out there. I just haven't gotten my hands on any yet.
