one of the best looking RE 650 out there, looks rugged you've made the bike look all the more classic :). Love the tyres and front end. fellow Int 650 owner from India (lived in the UK for 21 years). Funny thing is we use to keep a 300ml plastic bottle filled with fuel in the toolbox on my 100cc bikes in case iof emergency as we did not enough money to have the bikes well fed during college days :) loved watching your video
They are looking awesome and I like the way they are attached to the bike. 😃 I have also one bag from raw and rugged but I like the closing mechanism of tripmachine more, it's just more convenient. Also, I've noticed you bottle holder. What are these? And lastly I do also like you seat 😅. Would you please share where you got it from? All in all you've got a really nice bike I have to say! Great content 😊
Thanks for the kind words! The bottle holder is for spare fuel which I keep in Sigg bottles for an emergency. The seat is custom made by a guy in the UK called Holy Goat Customs. Thanks again, it’s been a journey working on it but I’m happy how it’s turned out ☺️
Wow Chris, what a video! This video is really inspiring honestly. How did you start figuring out what you wanted/needed when getting and modifying the INT650? I'm getting a license this year, and its a little overwhelming to figure out where to start 😅
Your bike reminds me of my RE from 1972. Looks great. Those switches look like ones that are on ebay, they look good but what about the indicator switch? Any chance of a link to the ones you got? Thanks from the Red Indian 650.
Hi Chris, I got an interceptor too. Definitely your videos influenced a lot the choice because yours is very beautiful. And so is mine, luckily the previous owner made some very good choices. among the things I would like to change are the switches, the ones you have, I have seen them both on eBay and from a shop in the states. with a considerable difference in price. could you share your source?
It depends on what you are looking to achieve, they’re all really nice bikes - I’d say Interceptor is a good balance of the other choices. The w800 has some great personality in the engine and the Classic 350 has the retro look. But for me the Interceptor has introduced me to modern classic culture and is very easy to work on as well as modify
@@ChrisKonings yes that makes sense have to say really do like the continental 650GT just some thing about that design, but even the new Black Ray is very nice
Brother what seat are you using?rn I am using thr official re signature bench seat which is absolute garbage, I have a long daily commute would you recommend this particular seat for that use case?
Hi, congratulations on your Interceptor! I'm looking for one too and would like to upgrade it a bit to tackle light off-roading. Did you also work on the suspension? If I may ask you how.
thank you, appreciate the kind words - the headlamp housing is stock but the lamp itself was a gift from a friend, I think it's called JW Speaker headlight
Thanks for reaching out Geoff, I’m slowly working my way through the mods in-between content I already have planned out, each video will cover bike parts in detail but I like the idea of a list of all the mods as well!
@@ChrisKonings You can also do it in a simple format of just walking around the bike and talking about each mod that you have done. I hope this helps :)
Awesome video man. How much of a difference do you notice riding with both of these filled up with regards to your stance and walking position? I'm a short dude and at times I need to have both feet kinda on my tip toes on my Conti. How much further would you say your foot to foot distance is while stopped?
Thanks very much, good question, it doesn’t change the foot position too much but if you’re really on your toes I could see a little change to your stance, they’re flexible though so you can squeeze the bags in a bit
@@ChrisKonings Thanks. I already ordered em moments after asking this question 😂 but yeah, I figure fully loaded they may be an issue.. Depending on how full they are I'll be ok. We shall see. My own installation video coming soon lol. Thanks again.
The side panels came with the bags, they are attached and it was as easy as the installation in the video. Unless there’s a different panel you’re thinking of?

Agree with the rugged and more classic comment, spot on
This is the best looking INT 650 build I've seen thus far. Would you happen to have a video of all the mods?
Wow, that's a big compliment, I can do a video on mods for sure :)
@@ChrisKonings yes please 🙂
I have the left one and it's come in handy for storing small things when I don't want to take my tank bag. Good review.
Totally, it’s little tools and handy items that fit perfectly in these bags!
very nice set up !! do you mind making a TH-cam short about your water bottle holder? wich system are you using? zipties ?
Wohooo!!! this is going to be epic!
Thanks Srinivas 😄

ngl the leather one looks awesome.
Totally, thanks 😊✌️
the seat looks good, where is that from?
This is a custom seat from Holy Goat Customs - are you looking for a new seat?
@@ChrisKonings yep I found few of them interesting. One of them is mk design brat seat (short)
So you have this and the W800
Love the tweaks you made to the bike
Yep, Interceptor in the US and W800 in the UK - thanks for the kind words! Do you ride?
@@ChrisKonings cool best of both worlds, getting back into it after a long break so looking at Classic 350, interceptor and w800 too any advice

Yeah the GT650 is a stunner, just keep in mind the riding position isn’t the best for long travel compared to the INT650

Nice - yes I replaced the rear shocks 😊
good clip and wow lovely quality gear ..name of the headlamp you fitted on interceptor is it from BAAK ?
thank you, appreciate the kind words - the headlamp housing is stock but the lamp itself was a gift from a friend, I think it's called JW Speaker headlight
Congratulations on the channel and the videos, what model are the saddlebag and bag retractors?
thanks, the bags are from The Longride
Good review @Chris. I wonder will that bag touch my inner thigh while I keep the foot on road and walk ?
I am 5’11”.
Thank you very much - You will feel it but it doesn’t disrupt the ability to walk the bike, I’m 5’10” and I don’t have issues with it
Hi Chris, when will we get a list of all the mods to the Interceptor you have done and you thoughts since doing them?

thats a good looking bike
Thanks very much, why bike do you ride?
Yamaha T7 and a honda CT 125
Nice, that sounds like a great combination!
Nice Video! Which type of bottle holder do you have on your bike?
Thank you - I just bought a molle bottle holder from amazon and zip-tied it to the frame - it carries my petrol bottle for me :)
Which rear suspension ur using would love to know if its in softer side
I have YSE rear suspension
The bike looks gorgeous
Which handlebar is that?
thank you very much - the handlebar is the BAAK flat tracker bars - do you have an Interceptor 650?

Hello Chris, What Kind of helmet do you wear?
Hello, it's a Hedon helmet
I've noticed you changed the interceptor panel, was it easy to do? What panel is that? Never seen that one before
The side panels came with the bags, they are attached and it was as easy as the installation in the video. Unless there’s a different panel you’re thinking of?
@@ChrisKonings No, actually I was talking about the instrument/dashboard panel.
@@EveraldoBezerra Oh apologies - yes I've replaced it with a mini speedometer from BAAK which reduces the front end a little bit
What brand is that seat
It’s custom made by a company called Holy Goat Customs
