Great video I appreciate the time and effort. Just wanted to say I agree I noticed a ton of people complaing about "resetting" but man I lowkey love it. Each new area feels like it has a purpose. Going back to already learned trees or fish and not having to look something up everytime I get something new to go learn. "OH another pine tree" and I already know where they are and get right to it. I've also went back to hope multiple times when I wanted silver for tools or to make potions to help with some of the boss fights. It's relaxing chill and quite fun.
Very nice guide. I cut Ash, processesed, and sold boards until lvl 15ish carpentry and then bought and sold pine as it's .17cp/xp until 20 and then bought and processed Suave until 32. It was pretty fast and money efficient.
I think people need to accept the first two episodes introduce basic groundwork. It’s not a reset, it’s a slow introduction to the skills that get more integrated later. The game should attempt to communicate this early on, and it should give a clear in universe reason why the new region requires new skills and equipment.
Even now knowing that it still feels like a reset. I am not a hater and I am happy some people like it however I took the rest of the week after the release and the weekend to play the game and I still did not got motivated to play it after the first day. I was so sad but it just doesnt do it for me
Be sure to use xp potions for knowledge points for a big boost! You can drink it with the pop up already up and it will come right back for you to select xp. 👍 Note: if you're in ep 2 and want to use it on alchemy you have to drink an ep1 xp pot.
I promise you if you get to 16 wcing and process yew logs which is just north of the spot, you can do 2-4 inventories of yew log processing (for exp and also MONEY) And this will allow you to buy more logs for faster experience
I think the intent is to 'come back' and do sidequests, but this reward is so powerful that it introduces a lot of FOMO so people feel compelled to do it ASAP.
