Some Toyotas did come with a full size spare tire. If your spare tire is a full size wheel and tire (same as the other 4) and/ or has a metal valve stem then it has a sensor in it and will trigger the tire light if it’s low.
Locate the tire pressure reset switch located below and to the right of the steering wheel (on instrument panel, knee bolster or inside glove box). Press and hold the switch until the tire pressure light flashes 3 times. Drive straight at approximately 25mph or more for about 10 to 30 minutes
@@tpms6249 When you start the car it flashes about 10x and then turns solid. All tires are 35psi at this point . I tried it at least 20 times. (unfortunately)
@@tpms6249 I just read that if it blinks when you start the car, and then turns solid, it's a SENSOR issue, NOT an air pressure issue so resetting it with this procedure I'd guess wouldn't work. Maybe for the others where it didn't work, it's like my daughter's where it's a sensor that needs replacing,
@@ericbresnick688Yeah, it's a sensor issue. Had the same problem with my 08 Camry. Found that 2 of my tire pressure sensors had dead batteries during a tire replacement.
I appreciate your assistance. Thanks
Absolutely what I was looking for 👍🏻💪🏻
When you replace the tpms sensors on the Camrys. Are they self learning or will you have to clone them
Thank you. You the goat
Does the TPMS light also come on because of the spare tire being low?
I cannot say with 100% certainty but more likely than not no, the spare tire probably doesn’t even have a sensor in it.
@@Elihansen60 This fix didn't work for me, so I guess that button is broken :[
@@LauncherSpiderMk7 Us neither. .The button sure felt fine, and all tires were fine also

I’m gonna try this because the button didn’t work for me either.
Great and straighforward.. Thanks
What does it mean when that doesn’t work?
That's what I'd like to know.

Perhaps the procedure is different in our. May have to do it while it's moving.
@@chriswilliams2652thanks. This worked. After resetting the button, I drove my car for a couple minutes and the light turned off.
That doesn't work
That didn't work on my daughter's 2011 Camry, and all tires are the same PSI. . The button did nothing. hmmm
Occasionally it takes a few attempts. Is the tire light flashing or solid?

@@siyotter246how much did that end up costing you?

The one that's the most important is the one that flashes a Red light haaaaa haaaaa haaaaa haaaaa
That's the most annoying senser ever made.
