I have always thought that this song minus the lyrics would be awesome to have a rap laid across the top of it. How hardcore would that be...
Another great song is "Breath" from the same album. I personally like heavier music so I like a lot of stuff from their "Ember" album which is their heaviest so far, "Red Cold River" and "Tourniquet" from that album are worth checking out if you like heavier stuff, or maybe want to get into some heavier (while still pretty light in the metal genre) rock music.
Breath, diary of Jane, evil angel, dance with the devil, topless, a lot of great songs on phobia.
If he's gonna do Red Cold River and Tourniquet, he might as well do Torn in Two and do the whole trilogy. Throw in Never Again also because it's sort of connected lol
Pretty sure its called Brutals but theres layers lmao. His are some if the lighter ends of the screams like that. Then there's fry screams you hear in a lot of Metalcore

Jane is a girl that died that he loved but she did not love him. She committed suicide and she is a lost sole in purgatory and she hunts him. In her diary he hopes to find her love for him but he knows it's not there.

“It all started because I was watching a lot of Forensic Files stuff where there were a bunch of unsolved mysteries. There was a Jane Doe that washed up on shore and she just got buried with no story. It was like a meaningless person. Nobody knew who she was to the point where whatever she did was all gone. So, Jane references Jane Doe but then making a story up for her because she had nothing. That’s what started it and then once I started writing, it turned into more than that. ... This person Jane was just gone because they were unidentified for so long and lived this entire life for nothing.“

I first heard of them in 2003 when I caught them with Seether three days grace and evanescence in Charlotte. We were on the front row. Been hooked ever since
