I am proud to say that this song saved a life. A few years back I was going through a very rough time. Husband left me for another woman when a was 18 weeks pregnant. He took everything with him including our car and the money from our shared bank account. I then lost the baby due to stress of getting my life back together. Depression kicked in and I became someone I didnt know. Music became my comfort blanket and this song specifically was on repeat for hours at a time. The lyrics honestly helped me push through it all and refuse to back or accept defeat, because I was not going to let my ex take my life with him. I am proud to say that I am currently engaged to a wonderful man now and am doing so much better. I know the band will never read this, but I'll never forget this song or group.

I'm a death metal guy so I hear screams and growls all the time but it's something about him just slipping that godly growl in that's so effective. It's like all the clean vocals were building up to that ultimate release of emotion. Again it's just something so effective about it I've always loved this damn band mane

He can't even come close to the kind of showmanship Chad displays on this video that I haven't seen behind the drums for a very long time. Thats why he's up front with a side view of him and his kit. So people can see how badass his drumming style is with all its intricacies. It totally makes the whole music video alot more badass! Every movement he makes has a perfect purpose. You can see that he's giving it his all with every one of his sick and quick hand and arm movements. Just amazing!

Spending 18 months everyday fighting to surive the horrible abuse i was enduring everyday telling no one what was really happening. It was ur music like i will not bow and dancing with the devil, each lyric gave me strength to keep fighting. Some days it was only ur music in my ears that got me through it. When my ex tried to strangle me to death and run me over with my truck. I barely made it out alive if it wasnt for a little pregant girl driving down the road seeing me run for my life that she called for help. I was able to get away from him and he has gone to prison for what he did. I have wanted for years to find a way to tell yall this i just want u to know that yall saved my life and empowered me in a very tough part of life. Thank u

Kry Kry Stott the lineup of that era had its pros and cons, Chad’s more technical than Shaun is behind the kit and Aaron was a master with the lead guitar effects. A huge problem with this lineup was the lack of backing vocals, Aaron’s a decent singer and could’ve done backup during live performances and it really would’ve helped Ben out.
2023 & it still slaps
I was being verbally bullied all the years in Elementary School. This song( and this insanely amazing band) helped me through those times and I started to ignore all the people who were bullying me and came to the conclusion that they were just jealous of something. I love Breaking Benjamin!!!!!!
Same I contemplated suicide a lot of times but a lot of bands helped me throughout my years of getting bullied including breaking benjamin :)
Relatable. I was bullied Kindergarten through High school and abused at home. Music is my lifeline.

Yeah me too.. I went through a depression period because of bullying when I was in middle school.. This song takes me back to those days. The only way I could stop the bullying is to stand up to them never bow down,never fall. That's how I got them to leave me alone. Face your fears head on. It works. I kept telling myself over and over to fear know one. It works!! 💪👊👊 but God himself.
All I can say is... that is the longest mic cable I have ever seen in my life.

neither of those bands are metal ... hard rock maybe but not metal search up black sabbath or Metallica (yes i know there thrash but still) or DEO or def leppard or just real metal!

No, they aren't. They haven't been a band since 2010. Ben is (has done) doing solo acts in his hometown. Once the lawsuit was settled, (ending Mark and Aaron's rein in BB) Chad ALSO quit the band due to "creative differences". It's literally just Ben as of right now.
