      I really appreciate your kind words as it really means the world to me when people like you enjoy my hard work that goes into my content! We tried our best to cover everything between the two boards and gave a real life insight into the boards and what it’s like to own them. I will keep working really hard on my videos so hopefully one day I will gain some more subscribers and be able to commit full-time on my passions 🎥🙌

    Thank you, great video, me and my partner have a XR and I just got a used GTX, I’m really into it, but don’t feel the Onewheel.
    I’m really glad we can expect up to be able to keep up with each other!
    It came with 120mm poly wheels, I’m fitting the 175mm AT tires, already a lot more power than I know how to handle!

    Luke, I didn't realize what a bad a** you were until I had owned my one wheel G. T for about a year. Watching you shred on an xr. At a sustained, 23 miles per hour was nothing short of awe-inspiring. A lot of these comparison videos. Don't pick riders that suit the board and you. My friend are a bad dude keep going, brother. Great video and pleasant surprise how well the OW performed. But to achieve those speeds, you're riding on the very edge of the board's limits. Have you had a lot of nose dives from pushing the board past it's limits, in order to understand and exploit it's capacity so well? I'm still a beginner with only 70km on my OW, and I'm scared of not detecting pushback and nosediving at speed. How do I learn the limits without going over them?

    • @YoungFilmmaker
      @YoungFilmmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Heck yeah, the Onewheel is awesome! I rock Mission riding mode and it’s the best for speed I think! So much flow and speed! I get pushback 16/17mph and push through the pushback up to about 23/25mph. Luckily I haven’t had many nose dives due to fast riding as I learnt to ride fast by slowing building up the speed and perfecting the technique! These boards can shred up to some crazy fast speeds but there is the obvious danger and risk of a nose dive if you push it too hard and overpower the motor. I’m not always going crazy fast and the terrain I ride on all depends on if it’s safe to push through pushback. Use your hips to push forwards through the pushback while keeping your head over the wheel incase the nose was to go as it’s easier to recover. I hope that helps and don’t push the board too hard on the wrong terrain as it’s only as safe as your skills can control. I really hope that helps 🤘⚡️

    The GTR is an old board now. Most new models destroy the GTR in speed, acceleration and range. Also, when you mention speed through the "push back" on the one wheel, that would take a lot of practice and extreme comfort with the board. The board is designed to let the rider know when it is approaching max speed because if you try and exceed its max speed the front end will collapse into the ground. This is the main issue with one wheels. Crashing is catastrophic due to the design. Much like an ECU you are thrown into the grown with a lot of force with little chance to prepare. I've seen these described as the most dangerous personal electric transport devices you can get. But, people who are committed to them are extremely dedicated such as yourself. They are very different devices despite how similar the components seem.

      Onewheel isnt about straight line speed ...the new GT has had many go over 30-32 mph .. thats nuts as I have a one wheel gt and onewheels are adrenaline producing machines and the GT on a trails is so damn fun I will never go back to a 4 wheel EV (its just my preference as I cannot get the same awesome feel off any e skateboard that a onewheel gives me.

      @YoungFilmmaker  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you so much for watching! My Board has ‘The Float Life Homebrew Growler rails’ which means I also have 3/4 of an inch shorter rails and I use a smaller tyre which makes it feel like a nimble pocket rocket. This was the Red Onewheel, but the Blue Onewheel in this video was completely stock 🙌

    I can say as a guy with almost 50,000km on a one wheel that the evolve board will not be as nimble on a trail.. a single contact point is always going to handle trail chunk easier. The one wheel has less rolling resistance 5ban the gtr ( single slickvs 4 tires with knobs)

    "750W" that number means practically nothing. The controller can do 30A and if the battery is at 60V that's 1800W. The wattage rating is pretty meaningless.

  • @sharky1854
    @sharky1854 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    you sound sponsord by onewheel. take a drink and continue riding isn't true it takes 2 hours idk how long you drink but that s not short and a esk8 is definetly faster with better specs and the gtr isnt even a god board. also the main difference is fun and manoeuvrability. btw motor specs say nthing those 3000 watts aren't true or atleast don't translate to real power my 2200whatt eboard is way faster than the 3000watt evolve
