The waves makes more sense in the show. When Goku's at Kame House, he tests his strength by throwing / skipping a rock across the water. In the first episode, he skips the stone and it flies like a thousand miles. Here, to show how much stronger he is, the stone makes waves.

The fetus in the green liquid was one of Bulma's mother's clones. It's a callback to the bit of dialogue between Bulma and her dad at the start of the episode ("Of course he had a sub-lab; all scientists do. Where do you think I keep your mother's clones?" "Mom's WHAT?" "Don't go in the basement"). They never explain why Popo sees Kami there.. loneliness is a plausible explanation. But I like to think he just still has residual acid in his system, from the milk jug. Great react as always!
Yeah the Hyperbolic time chamber is no joke. They don't mention it in the abridged, but the further you go from the door the lower the air pressure is. It is kind of like you are climbing up a mountain by just walking straight. It is very easy to get to a point where you will just pass out and not wake up. That is why they haven't really used it until now. Also the max time you can spend in the chamber is 2 years inside.
3:40 - This is a reference to the third (?) Shrek movie, where there's a little boy with a voice just like that. He's the one who demands Shrek do his scary ogre roar for him.
Goku threw an energy that's why he divided the waves he was trained and in the original version he did throw Chichi his wife by accident into the sky but he didn't send her into space then he caught her I don't understand how Goku managed to catch his wife it showed his strength

Mafuba = Evil Containment Wave, a move that was used in Dragon Ball, never appeared in DBZ but then showed up again in Dragon Ball Super. A move perfect for trapping people you don't like in a small pot.
