Worried you’re botching your Shakespeare monologue? I’ve got you covered. Catch my exclusive mini training, 3 Big Shakespeare Mistakes (you don’t know you’re making). Here it is: shakespearewithsarah.com/mistakes/
For me, that’s the sign of a good production - not agreeing with their interpretation of everything but still loving the production as a whole and being moved by it. It was an interesting angle for Lady Percy and it made sense in the context of that production but I don’t think it would work very well out of context. So not a great fit for actors doing auditions.
Hey Sarah! How are you!? I'm sure you have so many requests but I was wondering if you could do an analysis of Berowne's 'thus pour the stars down...' monologue from Love's Labour's Lost. I love the character but it's so hard to find what each line means which is so important when performing. Would be so much help. Thanks! x
Hey Oliver, I will put it on the list but I’m a bit behind on requests already to be honest! It will be at least 3 weeks, probably more. Sorry I can’t be of more help at the moment. If you have specific questions about the text you’re welcome to DM me on Instagram.
Funnily enough I was going to do a quick Instagram video on this monologue yesterday but I ended up choosing a different one. Let me know what you’re struggling with and I can hopefully do a little mini IG video at least. YT vids take me longer with all the editing etc

i saw Judy Dench play this scene at the RSC in 1977. She was badass!
Just came across your channel and I absolutely ADORE all of your videos! So brilliant, thank you for these :)
Glad you found my channel! Thank you and you're welcome. ☺️
Yes! The Donmar one was impressively powerful! (And I completely agree about Lady Percy.)

Yes! I’m so excited for this video!
I was super excited to dive into this. Henry IV is such an amazing play. Feel free to add any corrections if I botched the explanation of anything!
@@ShakespearewithSarah No, you rocked it as always!
Muchas gracias por tus videos!!
You’re so welcome! 😊
