I absolutely agree. People are soooo quick to judge, it's horrible! A friend of mine has a long haired german sheperd that loves to sleep outside the apartment, on the tiny porch that her owner has. Doesn't matter if it's summer or winter, that dog preferes the outside. In February her neighbors called animal control because of that, thinking she would make her dog stay outside. Animal control couldn't find any problems. The dog even has a doggy door to go outside as she pleases.

You bought Sherpa a van, renovated the interior for him, bought him a convertible and new jeep! Got a new home with huge yard. Then you built him shelter outside because he loves being outside. Take him on vacations, runs on the beach, exploring historic areas...........maybe all that's missing now is a personal masseuse. If only we could all be Sherpa.

Anyone that thinks Sherpa is not a well loved, well cared for dog hasn't watched many of your videos. I will never forget the last trip back to the old place to clear it out, Sherpa didn't even want to get out of the van. He wanted to get back to his new house. HE LOVES HIS YARD!

I've only been watching for about a year. I don't know if he's the most spoiled dog but he is certainly the most loved dog out there. Noone could do a better job of caring for him than you.

It’s bizarre even if they never saw any other videos! Sherpa is a HUSKY! We know he’s an older gentleman now but I’ve never met a Husky who doesn’t prefer being outside. Unless it’s very hot outside!

Hi Jamie, those people probably meant well, but didn't know you and Sherpa as we followers who have been with you for years. There was never a dog more loved and tenderly cared for than Sherpa. You have truly given him the best life ever. They probably were not here with you when you and Sherpa stayed in the mobile home, and Sherpa did not have a gated garden of his own. What a joy it was when you bought your new home to see Sherpa settle into his beautiful new garden and being able to sleep on the warm grass, in the sunshine of his old age. What adventures the two of you have had all over England and Scotland! Sherpa has been by your side every single day whether it is climbing a snow covered mountain or going to see Old Larry in the grocery store parking lot. You have taken him on a million walks on the moors, and thousands of swims in the pond. You also drive him almost every week and hour and half one way so that he can romp and play with his best dog friend Key! Although now there is not so much romping as before, but still lots of treats and pure dog happiness at seeing his friend. I really encourage all the new viewers to go back and watch the older videos and see all the fun that Jamie and Sherpa have had. This channel is truly my favorite in all of TH-cam.
The difference between what those folks are saying and the reality is like night and day. It's obvious that he just loves being outside. He chooses to be there, the door is almost always open in every video and he just loves laying in the grass. If the folks complaining had that kinda coat on all day every day I bet they'd spend more time outside too! Thx for sharing~

In my words I’ll say it’s ok if Sherpa wants to be outside during the day isn’t it Jamie, he probably enjoys the fresh air and what’s more you’re always there to keep an eye on him so he’s safe and it’s good that he comes back indoors for bed in the evening where he’s also safe. You’re a great guardian for Sherpa too Jamie that’s a compliment in return.

Most everything Jamie does is for his dog and if it’s something that he will enjoy or need then it’s a bonus for both of them! That's one of the most important life lessons- people can talk all they want, but if they don't know you, they're just responding to stories they made up in their heads. Their comments aren't actually about you, just some story they made up to aggravate themselves.

We have been Jaime and Sherparites for over a year and we were so upset and outraged with the ridiculous comments from people who obviously only watched the small section of you building Sherp's shelter, then made unfounded assumptions.
True Sherparites know how loved and well cared for Sherpa is and what a brilliant Hoodad you are to him, Jaime.
It never fails to amaze us how people judge or react with outrage when they have not bothered to learn all the facts about a situation.

I have on occasion suggested a dog bed for the outdoor shelter, but it was only ever a suggestion not a complaint! Even when I donate on videos with Super Thanks, I never dictate what you should do with it, it is you who knows far better than me what is best for Sherpa.

As an aside, my two Labradors were inside dogs their whole lives too. They loved to sleep outside on the grass as well, with the opportunity to come inside when they were ready (😂😂😂😂) or when we called them in at tea time/bed time. Sherpa reminds me so much of them with the things he does, sleeping outside as long as possible included ❤❤❤❤

I don’t think any other dog is as loved and cared for as Sherpa! He has a wonderful life! What other owner would drive miles for their dog to have a play date with his friend, and take him to hydro to help him move more easily. He has beds everywhere so he can choose! He has his own covered outdoor space if he wants to nap there during the day.. I remember Jamie actually spending the whole night outdoors because Sherpa didn’t want to go in, and actually buying another car more suited to Sherpas needs than Little Red,! Other comforts too numerous to mention! I would say Sherpa definitely comes first!

If Sherpa does sleep outside over night it’s with Jamie right next to him. Jamie always puts Sherpa’s health, happiness and comfort before his own. ❤❤

I have been following these two guys for a long, long time and Sherpa couldn't had a better human than Jamie to live his life with.
Imagine watching for the first time, not knowing Jamie's life is all about Sherpa. Like, buying his dog a home with a big garden, getting him a Mini (which Sherpa loved), then a Jeep so he'd be more comfortable, not to mention taking him everywhere for chicken balls, friends days out, and the fact that Sherpa's meals are better than mine every day. Then Sherpa loved his big garden so much he didn't like coming in when it rained, so dad built him a shed cover so he could stay outside when it was raining. Sherpa is in the best hands and first timers are like, "dude, get the dog a bed." 🤣🤣
And his road trip adventures as well ^^^^^ 😊
He's a much loved dog not only by Jamie,Sara Granny Nook, Key etc but by his whole Community

Most Americans who have ,or are familiar with snow dog breeds... wouldn't question Sherpa being outside. These breeds love being out in the cool air. If it was too hot out... they would be concerned. Since you built an add on to the shed Sherpa seems extra happy 😊
He obviously is an inside dog, people. I wish I had that many beds. 😄 It was so nice of Jamie to build Sherpa an outside shelter.❤

@@Sherpas_vanlife it is, people don't understand that Husky's can withstand minus 60 degrees. And it probably is the same for Malamutes, its what they're built for 🥰
@@lwilliams781 Can remember how Tonka's mum said that one Winter in Florida.
She had to run into the chemist and left Tonka the Malamute in the car.
She got back to the car with a note on it, saying her dog could of froze to death.
Most dogs love being outside. I bet dogs think there is something wrong with us because we keep ourselves couped up inside all the time.
