- I've heard a lot of people theorized that cuz Firefly has a feeble and frail body she pilots Sam from the inside or that she is closely related to Sam, I DISAGREE!!! I think IF!!! There's a connection it's because she's a descendant of Titania BUT!!! WE SHALL SEE!!!

I think the one who betrayed her is the other Galaxy Ranger, Boothill. A cyborg, a lad, silver hair, silver armour. Can't wait for 2.1 to get the next clues for the story though.
They released him the day after I posted this video and instantly noticed that too. But!!! Fire fly mentioned "Mech" and if I can remember while following her fragments we also find burnt mobs too. That is certainly an interesting theory though. I can't wait too, I wish they'd just bamboozled us and revel that the instead of Boothill we're gonna get Firefly instead
Boothill is a cyborg, not a mecha. Firefly said "Mecha", not cyborg.
@@mari_zzyeah, that's what sold me on the Samfly theory- the only time Sam's been referred to as a mecha other than by Firefly was in the story of Glamoth (Sam's homeworld) which you can find on the planar set
That and firefly's illness has ties to Glamoth which makes it seem like she was also from Glamoth
Her illness make her pretty limited in mobility, So my guess is the mech suit help her do that. The only reason we see her walking around is that she is in a dream. We have that connecting moment when she takes us to her favorite spot with the shooting stars. Sam ult is a falling star. She mentions a fiery landscape. When we fight Sam he sets the area on fire. A lot of thing are linking the 2 characters. Robin has already been shown in drip marketing and we know she "die" in the dream realm like Firefly did hinting that both are probably alive.
I know it all happened in the dreamscape and it's would connect them if she can access enacony outside the planet of festivities. She claims it's her favorite spot but how??? If she was Sam doing missions for the Hunters around the galaxy. Even if she does live in Penacony and could control Sam from a far that's only hell of a connection, WIFI working double XD. They are alive.
@@NEEKUNIT4913 I think its a more power ranger type of thing. Thats true that she would have to be in penaconly for quite a bit to eve have a favorite spot so you got me there. Maybe the mech has an AI she talks to.
@@umbralflow6883 maybe but as far as I know about Sam is that he was a former iron cavalry night, which were warriors psychologically controlled by Titania the ruler of Glam when it was still planet
@@NEEKUNIT4913You're spot on with what I think. Firefly isn't S.A.M like people keep trying to say. Firefly is either Titania or she's a descendant of her and she's Partners with S.A.M as he's a Silver Armored Mecha, the proof is in the 2.0 Trailer you can see S.A.M fighting differently against Acheron using Green Wings, I believe that's Firefly in control and when we Fight S.A.M it's just Red Flames, that's S.A.M in control

I've thought of the possible Titania connection before. It would make for a cool dynamic while also leaving Sam and Firefly as two separate 'entities'
If getting run through by the death meme really does result in 'spiritual death' then one assumes Firefly would be incapacitated at least for a bit, and then the Sam we see would necessarily be able to act independently of her, not just as a suit of armor.
Basically, Sam has a cool English dub voice, and I'd hate for it to just be a filter over Firefly's voice. I hope Sam at least has his own personality.

Yea, that's another thing. The TB has an unknown history with the SH so it would only make sense that Sam would already know about TB
And if she were really him then she would have already known about the mc when we met her and Gallagher the first time. But if i remember correctly then she didn't really knew anything about the mc.

Ehh??? Which other guy??? I mean the way Shaoji writes the stories are highly unexpected. Like in Honkai Impact 3rd, the 13 Flame Chasers were the ones fighting against Honkai just for one of them to turn out to be a Herrscher (basically god), a power given by the Will of Honkai. No one can really tell what goes around the mind of Shaoji and how fucked up the stories he writes will turn out.
Then after Patch 2.1... welp~ :)) while there're many signs showing Firefly is SAM during 2.0 event. Those who didnt believe got tricked by ELIO, as part of their scenario to threw Black Swan Memokeeper off who was looking into Firefly/ SAM.
Yea, personally I just think it didn't make much sense since Glamoth was ages ago (not sure how long) and to be a remnant of it while FF looking like she hasn't age after a certain age seemed farfetched to me. Also, is felt like they kept rubbing it in that they are the same, maybe I read into it too much XD. Honestly, it kinda ruined Sam for me but that'll be on the next video ^_^
I think Sam has it's own consciousness, something like Jarvis, while FireFly works together with Sam to make them more... complete as a unit/fighter. Regardless, they are inhabiting the same space (sam's armor/suit) but they have two different minds and motivations.
Sam was a former Iron Cavalry Knight which are modified warriors, I’m not sure if they were warriors as in human warriors or were just called warriors for some reason but a long time ago Titania the ruler of Glamoth used to control them psychologically.

My theory is that Firefly is the Pilot(dormant and dreaming due to her condition) and Sam is the AI piloting them. Sam’s betrayal was trapping her in a room (possibly to protect her while he hunted the dream entity) and we see that after her death he seemed to go on something of a rampage during the Trailblazer’s investigation.
And this is how this video was proven wrong 😂

If it can help your arguement, people claimed at first that Sam was a female because of some translation that happened in other languages to prove that they were the same, but that was proven wrong since it was a mistranslation. So they can't use that arguement. Plus, they sound like two different voice actors, so yeah
Another thing is, sure aging makes 0 sense in HSR since Zaofu exist and it could also exist in other planets but age difference could also play a massive role. IF I can remember right Sam is from Glamoth what was destroyed by the Swarm ages ago to the point barely anyone remembers about it. We're not sure how long Sam has been a Stellaron hunter but I'd say quite a while now. Since Firefly was referred to as a "young" girl, the gap would make just a child when or IF Sam did join the SH
I've heard people theorize that the reason Sam abandoned Firefly is because he wanted to remove Firefly from the situation so he could act freely from her, but i don't really think that's the case, in my opinion why Sam abandoned Firefly is because he wanted to ensure her her safety ESPECIALLY from the Death Meme, because we don't know if Firefly somehow can enter Sam's armor inside the Penacony/dreamscape and another piece of potential evidence for my theory is that if you spend enough time with someone you'll eventually grow to care for that person and especially if you fought LITERAL WARS with with echother and I know we are talking about the STELERON HUNTERS intergalactic criminals but they still have hearts
And an additional theory/fanfic of mine is that when Firefly and Sam are in specific situations where they need to be more calculated and smart with things, Firefly will aid when she can, but that is very rare because your enemy can't think when they are reduced to burning ashes
Interesting, it would be cool to look at the situation that Sam cares for her BUT!!! It was cuz Sam abandoned her that lead to her death in the Dreamscape

@@1_DMAY see what I’m thinking is, they could have possibly just been random people who by fate met each other and made a deal because they could gain some thing from each other but one eventually betrayed the other. (If I can remember Ellio was talking about some sacrifice or something). One other Theory that I came up with was that Firefly could be a long descendent of Titania, the former ruler of Glamoth (Sam’s old planet), who could only barely control Sam since overtime and telepathic power to control the iron Calvary knight (Sam) have been diminished so Sam wanted to be free from her. There’s a lot of directions the story could and I’m really excited for patch 2.1. I’m also have been working on another video to hopefully should be out soon.
@NEEKUNIT4913 I can imagine Sam betraying betraying Firefly because she was a decendant from queen Tatania and he wanted to break free from her grasp, as prof in one of blade's old voice lines he said "I yearn for death, but Sam yearns for life", and I can assume that Sam doesn't particularly have a high opinion of Firefly because she is a decendant of a ruler that made you, your brothers and sisters fight and die, no questions asked for a mere echo of a civilization; and this adds a whole new layer if depth to these two's story because nobody is in the right, Sam and the Iron calvery was created to fight and protect the people of his home planet from THE SWARM a planet ending threat, yes they were successful, but it was to late and their home/kingdom succumbed and died

I disagree. The 2.0 trailer itself hints at Firefly being Sam, especially with the Acheron Vs Sam scene where Sam has firefly-like wings which we haven't seen yet in-game. As well as the transition scene from Firefly to Sam. German translation also calls Sam a Stellaron Hunteress because professions are separated by gender in German. Also Sam = *Sam* -us. Sam is like a metroid reference lol
True true but we've seen multiple times that just cuz they share the same color scheme don't make them the same. Seele and Achreon, Himeko and Argenti, or Dan Heng and Imbibitor (that one is a joke XD). If the video ages bad then I could admit to that but with how they advertised this patch, is the mystery of the Family the only mystery to uncover, Sam was invited to Penacony and while FF does admit she was a "stowaway" she also got an invite that was separate from Sam's, so the Family is well aware of her existence as a staff member. While Boothill came from nowhere.

@@johnhalo-ug4go no not yet and I haven’t watched the stream updates yet either so I wouldn’t know. 2.1 will be Achereon and Adven, 2.2 is now confirmed to be Robin and Boothill. As for 2.3 it’s now speculated to be either Sam and firefily or Sam and Screwllum. Regardless they will make Firefly a playable character or it’s a mad waste of potential. Things is would they really stretch is that far when Loufu had at least 3-4 patches.
