Nice cut, but the client's photo showed a much shorter cut that was sharper. Instead he got a short back and sides. Again, really nice cut. But it wasn't close to what he asked for.
My reply is don't watch them if you can do better have a utube channel yourself and those that call other barbers are usually worse at doing haircuts my advice well don't watch and stop slating other barbers have a channel yourself and see who slates your work I bet there will be a few

I agree with maesh and carlos on this case. Some haircuts are great and all but they look good on models etc. , not every haircut suits every person, they gave him an advice, he could stick with what he wanted but agree to their suggestion, and I think he looks much more classier as a business man than a skin fade kid.
The client wanted something completely different but mahesh can’t do skin fades so he has to make up an excuse so he gave him something he could do 🤦🏽♂️give what the client wants not what you think looks best.

Regular barbers do what the customer ask for...master barbers give you the cut best suits you with a flavor of their style. Mahesh gives every cut his style
So a "master" barber can't just give the guy the cut he asked for? The one he gave him looks ok but it also looks nothing like the photo. He talked him out of the skin fade because he isn't good at taking out lines in a skin fade. Some of the other barbers on this channel could've done it really well, though.

To be brutally honest, clients should avoid going to the “master barber” if they want a fresh skin fade. I noticed this man has a lot trouble fading hair and makes up bullshit excuses such as, “you’re too old, you can’t have this haircut”. He’s a good personality and all, but if you can’t fade in 2019, you have no business being a barber.

There is a certain problem on my hair. The sides on the part of my head, the hair is staying flat and looking down, while the left part of my head, my sides, it stands out. And I need help, cause whenever I get a fade or a taper. The sides on my left side looks not very sleek compared on my right sides. Any help pleaseee!! maybe I shouldn't touch it more, cause I always tend to put my hair or part my hair to the right. maybe that affects my sides on the left side??...help
Hair roots have different strengths on either side..if a side is sticking up leave it longer so the weight drags it down..if cut a little bit to short, hair products can be put on to weigh/stick it down...hope I've helped.
We’re living in a world where people don’t realize what pros are for. If you go somewhere paying a specific person to do a job, you’re paying for his services and his skill, but also for his experience. There’s a difference between a usual barber that just cuts and possibly gets you looking worse than when you came in and one that takes what you ask for and modifies it into something that suits you. The cut he brought could’ve looked alright on him, sure, but not everything is made for everyone, and he could’ve ended up with a ridiculous haircut that could have potentially made him look less professional in his own job. Not everyone has the brain to accept an advice from a professional that studied and practiced a lot for what he does and gets paid for. And potentially 80/90% of people that watch these videos are like that, if you just want the haircut from the photo, don’t go to this kind of a barbershop, there’s regular ones that’ll just what you ask for and won’t care if you’ll look bad or will do them bad publicity
A regular hairdresser will not recreate a haircut ... and the good ones will not always. There are yes and there are also improve it ... this is not a case of improvement, it is a regular cut needed more work on the sides and back.

Mahesh can do anything and skin fades are child’s play for him. Sometimes it’s ok to ask the customer for what might look better and see if the customer is cool with it. That’s all he did. Thats a bad haircut, all he did was use machine over comb for the sides which there will be parts were hair is sticking out because it is not the same length all round his head and also, when you look at the client head from the back you could see the line up at the back of his head is not straight and what i mean by this is the lines that come straight down from hes ears and its bent which is not good and no where near professional and also they client wanted a skin fade round the sides and back and he said it wont look good, he shouldn't decide what would look good if the client wants it you have to do it simple.
