Maybe this was a Buffalo, NY style pizza? We in Buffalo invented the cup and char pepperoni, our sauce is sweeter and our dough is thicker. NY City pizza is thin cardboard with barely any sauce.

As with all takeout, you must toss the pie in the oven at 350 for 5 minutes. THE BOX DESTROYS PIZZA! 5-7 minutes and you got your crisp.
