Interesting interview. I would have liked to dig a bit deeper into what he means exactly by living a happy life. I think living "happy" is just an unreachable goal, I would exclude it completely and use the term that Niklas used as well: "Meaningful Life". A meaningful life is not necessarily a happier one, but a better life for sure. Live is full of struggle, suffering and so on and you will face these issues on a daily basis, no matter what you do. Living a "happy life" in my opinion is trying to avoid stress, trouble, suffering, hardships, and so on. This is an invention of consumer media and fake Instagram lifestyle and calendar sayings :) The emptiness one feels, however, can be filled to some extent with valuable and meaningful work.
