Excellent work! Great inspiration for me. I'd been looking all over for used crash bars for my MC (crash bars no longer manufactured for the model year), this gives me an idea of a different path I could take.
Nicely done. What's the weak point (that would break in the event of a crash)? The thin metal bracket (at 15:05)? It's a bit close to the engine, so hopefully it holds still. Let us know when you'll mount the coffee cup holder to it:)
@@jaceksuchon4717 My own idea for a motorcycle crash cage would also have mounts for bluetooth speakers or gas canisters (for each side). *Made modular and removable, with safety and practicality in mind of course But the cup holder is actually useful. I'd put a newspaper holder on the other side just for laughs :) *I'd make it fit a small laptop bag tbh😀 Looking forward to your future projects!
You must be joking. First of all, the tools you saw in this video would never ever cost 15 thousand dollars. And secondly, the man had already a shop and the tools. And you should figured out, he's quite skilled fabricator. So, when you have the tools and skills, it is a shame to pay hundreds of dollars on things like crash bars.
You have just motivated me for building custom crash bars. Really amazing work!
Thanks
I’ve been looking for this type of project, for my own dual sport bike. Thanks for sharing and inspiring 👍✌️
Glad you like it

Beautiful video, I am a cheap, overconfident, penny pincher, so I’m going to do this now that I’ve seen this
Thanks
what kind of shipping carts did you have with tubes that thick shaped like that? i had originally thought you heat bent and welded your own.
Home Depot
Do you use inserts for bending? Also what paint and primer do you use? Outstanding work!
I didn't bend those tubes
Primer Home Depot spray
Paint Tremclad oli based
Thanks
@@jaceksuchon4717 Oh, you bought them pre-bent? That's cool.
No I used tubes harvested from old shopping carts
That's what I'm talking about. You did a really good job Mr. Suchon. More money left for gas and beer ;)
