Off Hwy 90 theres a set of retention ponds between Eldridge and Corporate that is LOADED with Bass. Also further down by Sugarlands Constellation Field by the airport are a few more beautiful fishing spots fed by Oyster Creek. A Fellow Urban Fisherman.
Definitely the trashiest bayou in Houston. I don't know how it gets to that dirty in every section of bayou but it's amazing how many species you can catch out of there. Great video as always and love the multi-species videos.
Ultralight gear is a blast & I'm talking 4-8lb test. The lighter the lines the better you can present the bait but as with light lines you'll need a decent rod/reel to catch larger fish. A 6lb bass on 4lb test is a Lot of Fun !! Nice fishing/tips
Ten yrs ago the streams and rivers that I fish locally, were pretty much trash free, most times.. Once so many immigrants started showing up, building camps when they first get here, our waterways have become so littered with everything they always leave behind, not to mention, they use illegal ways of fishing, literally keeping everything that they catch,no matter what the species is,and I imagine that within another twenty years,it'll all look like INDIA

Appreciate ya!
And watch for the HUGE gators by Oyster Creek they are around periodically.
I agree with following your instincts. Rather be safe than sorry. Nice catches.

Illegal immigrants, leave all their garbage, everywhere they go

Amazing the diversity of species in the waterways
Great adventure as always. How do you avoid ticks?
Can you imagine those fishing holes a 100-200 years ago before population boom? Must of been some studs
Sir, 50 years ago that water didn’t exist because those are sewers and run offs let alone 100 years
I fished there years ago I need some tilapia for my pond might be going there soon
Green sunfish look like that when they are caught in dark areas. They will blend in.
Green or brase is the nastiest, which one did you have the luxury to fish?
Might be a "body" under that mattress..... yuk, that's the kinda place people come to rest. Next to polluted waterways. peace
So these fish are really tasty when fryed ?
Nothing from that waterway would be described as "tasty"
@@MrSeethe fun fact you can’t taste PCBs
Yes
I see you handle multiple fish, amphibians, etc. Are there any animals that actually scare you?
Good commentary about the horizontal lip holds. Totally unnecessary
So sad seeing all that trash

Interesting but a little scary. Could you post on Patreon where these spots are located?
@TxHornyToad yes, the second spot details are in the last Patreon video and I'm currently working on a Fishing Spot Highlight for both areas.
HOUSTON IS NASTY ...PERIOD

It could be LA but you’re right Houston has become gross
You screamed like a 12 year old girl getting a flu shot 🤦🏿♂️
