Yeah, I wonder about Okarun’s parents too… back when he was first cursed by Turbo Granny, he was basically at the Ayase household for like two or three days… did they call his parents to tell him where he was or that he was okay? They never address that.
The mangaka has been intentionally not revealing anything about Okarun's family to keep it a mystery. probably until he figures out what he could do to make it interesting for the story
Aira is great but flawed She ofc is a sailor moon, that belives she is the MC And she likely never failed at many things, so never had her bubble burst But that also lead to a lot of odd behaviour, like her being very fake even to her own friends As we saw in ep7 and here she lacked a female role model, and it being pushed as we see that she learnt about romance from her dad's stash She is also great as a instrument to push Momo to think about what she wants and feels While not being attractive at all to Okarun, so we will likely not have any love triangle for long (once it's just a one sided interest from her, and Momo knows it)
Don't won't to spoil much, but she got high up in the favourite character poll Jump plus (I believe) ran recently - and was in the middle of the top 10 manga characters (Okarun, Momo, TG, Seiko topping it to no surprise, well I would have started with Momo if it was my list) Now that's the Japanese audience, so different values to a point
