Big chunk of awesomeness there - I could watch that for hours. Really impressed with the progress, I haven't done anything car related in years and I kind of miss doing it after watching this video.
Great work so far with this. Really fun to watch how you problem solve. Have similar aspirations for some old projects I have laying around. Must get better at welding first though
I’ve been around metal smiths in a manufacturing setting, and I learned quite a bit from watching this video. 78 MGB with same almost exact floor damage, not extensive but worrisome. Thanks for documenting your resto work!
That's 2K epoxy primer. Not safe to spray without an air-fed mask, but brushing and rolling it is fine with just a good organic-filter respirator (as far as I know - don't quote me on that).
Money-wise, it almost certainly isn't worth it. It's only worth doing if you actively enjoy doing some extremely tedious metalwork - my motivation took a dip last winter which is why there haven't been any updates of late. If you just want to drive an MGB, sell your basket case to a keen tinsmith and buy one that's already roadworthy. You will come out ahead on time, money, and sanity.
Nice to see the details (close ups) and good narrating. I like to watch you do your project .. keep on it, well done!
Really nice series. You do a great job, both on the car, and the way you make the series. Looking forward to the next episode. Greetings from Denmark.
super entertaining 🚗❤
Great video- thanks for sharing 👍
Excellent work man! This is exactly how it's done.

Great work mate, I could learn some bits for an upcoming project which seems as rusty as yours.. :-)
Impressive restoration my friend! Subbed
Thank you!
keep the awesome videos coming! :)

One thing is for sure, you will quickly get better at welding if you start doing thin sheet metal work!

Great videos! Are there anymore to the series?
There are more in the pipeline, but the garage was too cold over the winter to make any progress so it's going rather slowly :o)
Fantastic repairs. What is that white paint you are applying?
Thanks

Your abuse of that poor screwdriver is only forgiven because of the amounts of angle grinding action ☺️
Good work.
That one screwdriver has seen some stuff.
Hi great work and easy to follow what are you painting the underside with. Thanks Mark

I got my first car, a 1967 MGB GT recently, and it's in a similar condition. I'm not sure if it's worth fixing

@funksterdotorg yeah I've made that decision last night. I would love to fix it, though. I just don't have a welder or any welding experience
What brand of paint are you rolling on (the white paint)?
It's an own-brand 2K epoxy primer from my local supplier, Jawel Paints.
