I just had to reply to you, I'm so sorry about your Mom. Mine was my biggest cheerleader, went with me to garage sales, swap meets, thrift stores. She shopped for fabric and of course looked for things I would buy, too. It was hard to go out by myself, a few times I would actually break down and cry when I saw a nice pile of fabric for sale, just thinking how happy it would have made her. She also loved hearing about my sales on eBay. My husband has no interest in my re-selling adventures, my kids are busy with families of their own. So I too love Tinas adventures and the other re-sellers on You Tube, I know they would cheer us on! I wish I could tell you it gets better but my Mom has been gone over 10 years now and I still miss her terribly. I hope you find some family or friends to share your thrifting adventures with, God bless you and yours.

She even picked out a few things that she thought would sale, and when they DID sale she would be so excited. I can still see the big smile on her face. @@charlottecochran63 yeah, my Mom loved hearing about what I sold, we would play a game (usually over the phone) like the price is right game, she'd start out with an amount she thought the item had sold for and I'd say higher or lower, when it was 'higher' she'd say "oh, Nancy!"... I can still hear her voice saying that. I don't have any videos of her to hear her voice, but mine sounds just like hers when I leave a message on my own phone. I remember my first big sale, we both weren't sure if I should pay $6.99 for a 3 pc.set of Huckleberry Hound sheets. When it sold for $144 she just couldn't believe it! (that was in the late 90's) You sound like you'll be doing just fine. Happy sourcing and selling!
TINA that yard sale was loaded. Those pans!! The copper bottom or farberware aluminum clad stainless steel are what I have. Got them thrifying. My daughter loves them to. They are the best pans ever!My Mom had them in the 1960's.

The macrame hanger I would use outside on porch or patio. I would either use two plant hanger hooks to hang under roof edge or could use two screw hooks and hang against the wall.

Great haul. I’m unable to yard sale bc of neuropathy and can’t do a lot of walking, so I go with you and thoroughly enjoy the trip. Love your “rambling “ and your humor.
A friend of mine helped her son furnish his first apartment after college. She said for what she spent it helped him furnish the whole place. He had gotten a job and was going to grad school. He never forgot how much she helped him. He became very successful and a very nice young man.
Never worry about filming your haul when your over tired “, just go with it”. You seem so relaxed and even more entertaining . I like your yard sale hauls! Really enjoy and like the things you pick up! And your not shy about asking for a deal! ( like I am)…………Glad your daughter wasn’t seriously sick with Covid and thank goodness nobody else in your family contracted it. And that’s A CAT! Btw…. Lol maybe it’s a cat named “ DOG” …… oh my I’m the tired one now

If you haven't yet, please think of getting the vaccine, especially after what happened to Alabama pickers, I don't want anyone else I watch falling very ill.
I hate going to yard sales first I have to travel far and gas is expensive then I have to ask what the price is of everything ...I always feel like they are sizing me up trying decided how much I would pay . Yard sales should be super cheap people are travelling to your house ,,, like charge a dollar for everything so that you do not have to pack stuff up and take back in the house or drive to the thrift store to donate
yep, don't you love it when they say they want to get rid of everything, what doesn't sell is going to the dump or goodwill. then you ask 'how much is this?" and their response is, 'oh, I have to get $5 (or whatever) for that, it was...blah, blah, story of how expensive or sentimental it is... crazy world!
