"He may not be let into the country" I have watched 9 episodes of this show so far, not a single soul was turned away, not even the person that came without any passport ☠️
I like this show. The Commercial Truck enforcement is just like ours here in the States except our driving is a bit more. It’s 70 hours working, I think. I’m glad I quit driving. Haha
The passport officers come across really rude when compared to the Australian immigration officers. If I accidentally left a document in my checked luggage and was spoken to like this, I would burst into tears…. Especially after like a 20 hour flight 😅
These officers are so tired of people arriving into Dublin playing the idiot not having proper id or passports and taking the piss out of immigration into Ireland.
Now I know to carry my marriage cert with me at all times. I don't anyone who carrys that with them, but now I know at all times. Then my luck I would be questioned as to why you have it LOL. Well because I watched Banijay Bluelight and they said you need it. And better memorize my husband passport number or whatever else they need. WOW. Learn something new everyday.
If u were dealing with what he has to deal with everyday, pure idiots and conmen arriving without proper documents taking the piss??They should piss off back to their caves and stop bothering people.
Cars don't have to be suspicious to be stopped and checked. I regularly get stopped (once a month or two), but get held for 30 seconds because everything checks out... I have no problem with that and am delighted the Guardaí get uninsured, dangerous and stolen cars off the road, in addition to drunk/drugged drivers.
@@paulaction9874 well then it must have been suspicious to him... where in the video does he say that and I'll take a look and I'll take a look and see if I can shed any light on the mystery.
That guy could've had a stolen child with him. He shouldn't have left the building without full intervention and proof positive that he hadn't kidnapped her from her mother or had snatched her off the streets. Officer Flannery was telling this guy that it was common sense that he needed to have all his documents printed out and with him and the child and yet gives him 3 months to produce the documents. Meanwhile, he leaves with a child he can't prove is his and that he's a custodial parent. Seriously??
Common sense my ass, he has a visa, issued by your own embassy. "The photo could be of anything", but if he printed out that photo and showed him on paper, that would be totally fine!!!!! /s
but only if they suspect them of having committed or about to commit a crime, or having drugs yes? it's not an all-out stop and search without reason surely@@kojut2707
Are these people idiots, anyone can come in for 90 days and it's up to them to decide if they will leave, get real. If I am going to the states I need to get a visa before I go, if I don't have this I can't just pony up to New York and say, "Your ok I have no visa but I'll be gone in 90 days." Why are Irelands immigration laws so lax.
EU country citizens and people from a list of countries (ok including Japan, USA, Canada, Australia, Singapore, ...) don't need a visa to travel to an EU country.
Some people have gotten to where they lie and cheat so much people have to have proof of marriage or a job whatever to go from country to country anymore. Sad times indeed
So a driver cannot drive for over 10 hours in any one day or you are illegal, yet Doctors in Hospitals, esp Junior Doctors can work regularly 12 hours and more shifts and they are dealing with peoples lives, great country, the HSE(Govt) can do what they like but others have to play by the rules.
I don’t think I’d enjoy living there having to deal with stuff like all the paperwork just to go here or there. Probably have to have paperwork to go to the bathroom sounds like.
6:50 Is that legal? Can police stop and search car content without a court warrent? and they took her stuff without a proof it was stolen!! I SEE THE POLICE HAS STOLEN FROM HER
It's a traffic stop, you don't need a court warrant, especially when person is known for stolen goods. The police in Ireland usually know repeat offenders as they deal with the daily and for many years. The programme doesn't show if the car was called in by one of the stores/loss prevention that the goods were taken from. However, it most likely was or the car came up as having stolen goods previously, so, yes, you will be pulled over, They're definitely stolen goods.
You don't need to carry them every day, you just need to do a bit of research on what documents you need to cross an international border. If the country you're visiting requires a photocopy of your ass before you can go in, have that ready.
No, it's not, please watch the video, it clearly states that the car is known for stolen goods. FFS, doesn't anyone pay attention anymore. the police in Ireland know who the regulars are.

Check on the government website to see what papers you need.

So, there is no serious enforcement of the rules of the road in Ireland either!😁
Correct
And given how they let that Indian man in with practically no documents, you can include the border as well.
Several defects on that truck….so they give him TEN DAYS to get them sorted! 😮. TEN DAYS to have a serious accident! Safety, my arse!
Was the point of this program to show how much of a joke the borders are.. letting in people with no documents...
