"Fernando" is Swedish pop group ABBA's 1st non-album single, released in November 1975. This song was to become ABBA's biggest selling single of all time, selling 6,000,000 copies in 1976 alone
Exceptionally, beautifully played, as always. I listen to your music after working hard at writing, and it never fails to relax me and make me feel really good. Don't ever stop, please!
What do you think about the note at 1:39 on your video (1:37 in the song). I always thought that was a great and unexpected note to use, and of course, it's brilliant. Nice job, fun song, as are many Abba songs.
Fantastic! Great performance. Feel in love with bass when listening to La Decadanse by Paul Mauriat. Please try La Decadanse by Serge Gainsborough or Paul Mauriat.
Play the opening arpeggios with a pick, and mute with the heel of your hand. actually, play the whole thing with a pick and you will have the sound just right.

timing timing, try to keep the tones short. For the rest. In a band your members would say you slow it down. Keep the attack as short as possible. I dont want to sound as a know it all, so sorry for that. Maybe this is something you can work with. Fernando is a easy song. Listen to this please. th-cam.com/video/B139-IqKcqg/w-d-xo.html

Yeah exactly! The when Rutger switches to the high octave in the verse it sounds magical while muted. What an amazing bass player. Rest in peace!!!

thank you..
@viceisthename I've been playing music for many, many years now.
Hoe Gaat Het Met Jou? fantastisk ljud Bass! Du leker underbart. Kan du speelen den Bass til "Maggy Mae" från 1971 Rod Stewart? Stor base-line.
Among many ABBA's songs, exeptionally, Fernando is leaded by Frida.
Awesome! How long have you been playing?

Amazing! Sounds better than Rutger Gunnarsson's bassline. Do you have the notation score?

@infusion26 Okay, well that's great!

"I dont want to sound as a know it all" Too late for that. Though you sound more like "I don't know anything but would give advice anyway"
Well played but not a good tutorial. Terrible camera angle. Try again Bud!
It's a cover bro, not a tutorial.
Out of rhytm...
