Eric, When I was working for the local towing firm 35 years ago we had an old F100 fitted with an A frame type towing setup. When we had the car up on the cable we also used SAFETY CHAINS that go from the top of the A frame down to the towbar to take the weight off the cable during towing to save wear and tear on the cable. I also noticed in this video you drove through the bush with your window open. IMO it would be a good idea to wear safety glasses just in case a stray branch comes through the window and hits you in the eye. You have a great family that share your enthusiasm in off roading, even little seat cover will be behind the wheel of the wrecker before long. Keep the videos coming.

You ever think about boxing your frame and maybe adding a crossmember or 2? You can see the frame flexing pretty good. I know these truck have a lot of frame flex but they also crack easy too.
If you look back in his videos, this is his second tow truck (I think), and this one was a previously used by an electric company I think, and already came with extra frame supports.
I'm curious; do you think it would be advantageous to have a twin line wrecker for your purposes, in spite of it's weight disadvantage? Or possibly a split boom twin line, like the old mechanical Holmes Wreckers?

The owner of the land or the club probably helps pay for towing. It cost alot of money for time fuel and maintenance on the truck. chains hooks straps etc.

If I wanted to donate money how would I do that without using a credit card number or online transactions? I would like to send a money order to a p.o box or somthing if all possible.
