Alright guys i'll do it! I'm about to turn 35 and I played 3 years at Clark College. I can man third base, SS, I'm a good defensive catcher and I had a mix of 6 pitches. Haven't picked up a glove in over 10 years.. I could still probably outperform whoevers gona be playing second for us this year lol. I'm trying to joke to keep from crying. I'm a lifetime Mariner fan and I've never felt lower..
I just realized that the Mariners probably took a potential Cal Raleigh extension in consideration when making their budget limit. Mariners already have those guys they'd spend big money on in Julio and Cal, now they just need some final additions to their supporting cast.
At this point sign Torres and Turner. At least you would have done something this winter. I would love to sign Bregman and Alonso, especially since there’s not many teams that are favored right now and almost nobody is whanting them. Imagine both on one team. If we get them before winter ends. That would be the greatest Christmas present of all time.
This team sucks. Jerry is terrible, Stanton is cheap. Until there is a salary cap in mlb this team will always be a joke. Only rich teams can compete in the mlb.
One of my favorite baseball stats is that in the last 30 years only 1 team has won a world series and has not been top 10 in spending (2001 Marlins). Yeah, you gotta be top 10 in spending if you want to compete.
@no_regerts5176 yeah. It's a bit of a catch 22. You either have to shaft players by introducing a salary cap which will make them a lot less money. Or you have to shaft the fans by having a non completive league where only a handful of teams can afford to compete. I'm a fan, not a player. I would love if they introduced a salary cap. Guys that make 40 mil would make 20 mil instead. Boo hoo ya know what I mean lol
@@multimillionaire4135 Probably but you just know Jerry asked how he could get them to to either still pay for Naylor or take some of our payroll before they laughed and hung up.
Boycotting games is what caused the A's to leave Oakland IMO. Sure the owner always wanted to leave, but if the revenue was decent enough from ticket sales then I think he puts up with it. A boycott for the Mariners would probably lead to theme leaving unfortunately enough. Boycotts simply dont work for Baseball because the owners just up and leave, taking the team with them
Something about free agency needs to change to make teams like the Mariners more attractive. The fact that the Mariners window is wide open and that winning in Seattle would mean way more than it would anywhere else should be attractive enough.
Just use the prospects. Look what has happened in years past. The trades didn’t work the way we thought. So if we call some of them up we may do better this season then if we made trades.
I wouldn't mind a 2nd and 3rd base platoon of Bliss, Dmo, Cole Young and Rivas. Maybe sign ha seong kim and have him come back when healthy. Gleyber almost quit on the Yankees last year. And we know what happened last time we got a Yankees 2nd baseman
This team is utter shambles and I hate this is my favorite team right now
John Stanton and Chris Larson are the second coming of George Argyros.
No money from ownership so why ask the fans to fill the stadium?
Christmas hasn’t even started and the mariners already ruining it (NO MOVES EVERY OTHER TEAM IS GETTING BETTER)

Meh, Raley would be a better option at first than Naylor.
M's got batting coaches instead of bats.
The new beat at the beginning is 🔥!

Salary caps won’t be a thing because their CBA guarantees nearly 50% of all revenue goes to player contracts. That’s a big chunk compared to the NFL.

Yeah im not sure why Cleveland took that deal. Can you imagine how insulting our offer was for them to accept that so quickly?
We offered Haniger straight up...

That is what I am worried about.

Mariners. I expect nothing, and I'm still let down. 😅😅😭😭
Is an outfield of : Randy Julio and Robles with raley at first not good enough, it’s second base and third base that should be the worry
Robles and randy may regress julio who knows. We also need a dh

What’s the reasoning behind trading Naylor then signing Santana?
We’re definitely getting Pete Alonso
God I hope so but that would be me absorbing massive amounts of Hopium
You guys whine and cry almost as much as the folks on KJR. I’m out.
Have a good life lil bro!!
Very reminiscent of when Jeff Passan called Mariners fans spoiled. Gtfo of here casual
